I love this mod, the only thing I fucking hate about it is the fact it fucks with the leaders of smaller nations and their names which really just fucks all forms of immersion

@Sherman_P Sadly no. I have since relocated to Switzerland and no longer have heart of iron insstalled. I will most likely never be able to continue supporting this mod, so if anyone want's to take over, then feel free.

problem with fire modules should have been fixed now. All i changed is made their negative relability modifier into a positive one.
Localisation for france has now been fixed and will be available when I push out next update.

There are already events within this mod to enable this. When the game starts, go mod options > disable Random Minor Nations. With next update, this will change slightly and will have a "disable stuff" and "enable stuff" option as to allow people to either enable or disable particular aspects of the mod. As such, the path then would be mod options > disable > disable random minor nations

After Paradox finally fixed their coding. It enabled me to continue supporting this mod. As such, here's an update!!!

I will be restructing how the startup event works next and will be working on some localisation of countries too (some countries like the soviet union have names that a very big).

1. Problem with missing fire control modules means cruisers and battleships cannot be designed/built
2. Localization of France should be "Republique" not "Republic"

Hi, would you be able to make a setting that would not allow AI to change the ideology (or make it accessible only to a large country)? My PC lags when a big war begins (1940-41). PC specs: ryzen 2400g, 8 gb ram 3133 mhz, ssd samsung evo 860

Can you make a different version of this by removing the cheap factories, AI spamming 10 Support C. 0 equipped, 0 org weak divisions and op focus trees? cause me and my friends like this mod a lot but these 3 ruin it

@Synarix Nope it just crashes to desktop, I've only experienced this on one save, I'll try to provide more info if it ever happens again. My game doesn't seem to generate any crashlogs :/

This mod is sadly not compatible with Kaiserreich. However, it should be compatible with most (if not all) graphics related mod.

As for the rest, including other minor mods. I do not know. At the current moment, any major overhaul mods (like Kaiserreich) is not compatible.

btw, I am trying/tried to improved the AI. but it is so broken by default that it makes it difficult to deal with. however, I think i've improved it - up to you to judge i suppose. but there we go.

Currently it's stable. It has a few teething problems. these being a few forgotten things (like germany getting 20 civ factories in a focus), a few AI problems (got almighty it's like bashing you head against a wall, the ai is soooo dumb), and a few other things. but it is stable. havn't experienced a crash myself.

This looks like a fantastic project: before I launch into a campaign could you give me an idea of how well it runs (crash and bug speaking) in the current state? In other words should I give you guys a few more weeks/months or is now a good time to dive in :)

It's december and due to the christmas season, spending time with fam and all that I will probably not be updating this mod as much. i WILL still be updating it - just not as frequently.

Currently working on the lag - one of my higher priorities as it really doesn't make it fun late-game (not noticing much myself - but it has been reported).

I think there is a difference between not focusing on historical accuracy and Belgium joining the axis in 1937 at the same time afghanistan joins the comintern. While I would prefer a more historical focused mod I know that not everyone cares as much for that as I do and would rather have other things focused on but it's almost like this mod makes the game have bipolar.

Am I the only one that found that almost every minor from belgium to tibet either went communist or facist? I couldn't even do around maginot because belgium and the netherlands joined the comintern in 37.

@Agemo That was there for testing, and it slipped through, it will be changed back.

@Jacob Our focus currently is not on Historic AI at the moment. Neither myself or Syn play with historic AI and the point of this mod is to primarily add replayability to the game. We will take a look at the Historic AI, but not till much later.

@Corn58 Yup you found the Plane/Manpower glitch, you can thank paradox for that one, nothing we can do for that.

-i was wondering if this is intentional with the mod or i was just having a EXTREMELY weird game, as i am playing with historical ai and with my 600+ hours have never seen ai deviate this much from history while playing historical
-besides my confusion at what the ai is doing i have been enjoying this mod very much, keep up the good work!

-i was just playing as germany on historical ai and i happened to notice that all minor and major nations were given MUCH more factories than in the base game yet as i was playing germany i still had base game level factories, is this because i was playing germany or is it just that ai recieve a boost to factories?
-in my game the soviets also took finland, lithuania, and latvia in 1937 and in late 37' early 38' most over a dozen random minor nations joined factions ex: turkey and the west coast of south america joined the japanese faction when they went to war with japan(which probably caused this to happen), the middle east excluding iraq, brazil, columbia, panama, tibet, and belgium joined the comintern(as im playing germany and belgium joined the comintern in 37' is very annoying), and estonia, venezuala, costa rica, guatemala, bhutan, hungry(which is pretty normal), and siam joined me

i still have the File of where there this happened. I simply used the consoles to switch to them so i see the problem. It is the Airplanes, they have -4294415 planes in a 1200 Airstrip.

@Corn58 alright so it sounds like you might have encountered the previously mentioned bug (part of the base game), and if you were viewing their manpower without switching to them the way the game estimates their manpower numbers view the political view is also vastly inacurrate. If you encounter something like this again it might be interesting to see what their manpower is listed as if you use the tag console command to switch to them to take a quick peek. Thanks for the feedback.

Yes all stockpiles of equipment are only of the WW1 grade and we might make a grade lower than currently exists to provide as the stockpile level of goods basically worse than anything you can possibly produce. This is to reflect all the military surplus that existed post WW1 and pretty much every nation on the face of this earth has some stockpile of weapons either small or large. Any further discussion please take it to the forum we would be happy to talk further.

@kebw1144 i was in the Axis, i saw their manpower clearly, and yes it did change, it went from -412k to 85.2 Mil back down to -215k back to 84.2 Mil. It was very confusing. I then fell asleep because i was tired.
