Either the mod author accidentally removed the HN and other stuff or letting them be in the game caused something to break. Still it would be great if there was an explanation.

@Kyo21943 is right why did you remove the vanilla references from many holy faction units as well as other NPC's your biggest sin is removing castus rum and rice bowls from many npc's in your changes why did you do this? Your mod is great its unfortunate you take two steps back by doing this with no explanation. When I attempt to fix the holy nation mistake, I end finding way more questionable changes. I have since remove this mod unfortunately due to this hiccup. If you have the time can you fix these quirks or tell us why you've made them I tried to find reasoning behind the changes but some characters that buy some of the stuff you listed make no sense whatsoever like some characters don't need a repair kit because they are human yet they buy that and not cactus rum and rice bowls??? Anyhow if you get to these comments please let us know what's up?

@Smartest 8-Year-Old You Know It's not a bug, the modder decided to remove all weapon entries from the Holy Servant NPCs, even the basic Iron Club.

He also removed items from other NPCs and even shopping AI items (for example, Holy Nation Citizens no longer buy Rice Bowls, lol), the reason for these changes and why aren't they even mention is beyond me, but this isn't the first time i've seen this and is why i recommend going over mods in the FCS by yourself.

"Modders" should stop changing random stuff which have nothing to do with the reason thousands of people download the bloody mod for, more often than not they do something people didn't want or even outright break something else.

I found an interesting bug/side effect of this mod. It removes the weapons from Holy Servants. They still have all their clothes, but now they're all unarmed instead of using an iron club. I'm not sure if it messes up other inventories.

I did a test with just this mod running, and the Holy Servants were unarmed. I turn it off (vanilla) and they all get their weapons back.

I have combined Yours and @Matvey Traveller Enhanced Shopping economy Mod. I give you and them full credit Just wanted to let you know i did it and posted it. If you or Matvey Traveller have any issues with the mod I would gladly give it to you both. I Just thought the two of you had half of a really great solution. Thank you for all the hard work you did. My mod is called THE cats and econ shopping combo. I hope i've helped in some way.

How would someone go about adding this to non supported entities? Trying to add this to the settlers of the Outpostlife mod, but I am having trouble finding where it is in the Forgotten Construction Set, especially since I am not even sure what is qualified as.

I noticed with one of the other shopping mods that Patrols were "shopping" in cannibal villages after killing them all.

I believe it is the problem with change in patrol AI. The same changes that make random passerby buy stuff from your base. I'm not really active on Kenshi lately though so I doubt I would ne going through the FCS to patch thing anytime soon. I'm fine with anyone picking this up though.

can confirm, a huge deathstack of 100+ starving bandies paid a visit to some random Ruin to go on a shopping spree.

I personally, am going to treat this mod as an alternative to Enhanced Shopping Economy. Almost downloade that mod till I read it adds a bit o cheating. Nothing against cheats, just not for me. I shall try this mod as a result :D

So if i load Enhanced Shopping Economy before yours, does that mean i get more money on people and more potential buyers from ur mod?

@Baleur both mod can be used together. Last I checked, the enhanced economy didn't touch the AI, so the AI from cats mod should work. However the when used together, the mod below will override the NPC money and shopping list setting of the mod above. You cannot mix the money setting of two mods together.

And no. FCS does not support equipment shopping. So NPC cannot shop for weapons and armor. Food, first-aid, splints, repair kits, tools, materials, and misc items are all already listed in the shopping list of this mod, so most things should sell. Though they have lower priority than food, first-aid, and drinks.

I seem to remember reading that weapons and armors are not in the list of items npc's can buy. There are mods that expand that list, though I'm not sure I've seen one that included weapons and armor. Most npc's would never be able to afford weapons or armor to begin with without something that drastically increased their available cats.

Basically hungry bandits and poor sods only have 8 cats on them, but still makes a nice co-interaction with this mod, makes you "feel" like the npcs actually have the money this mod simulates. Is this compatible with the Enhanced Shopping Economy though? If it only overwrites the "rich" characters, will the "poor bums" your mod edit still have their meager income and all the guards and caravans retain their trading AI?

Outland Coin Purses. They're just a lootable item (or sellable) so i dont know if THIS mod results in the npc's using their coins to trade xD

LOL, just think of them as group of beggars walking up to the shop to beg for food.

And @g0jira, no. They don't have physical money item. While it is difficult to believe, world of Kenshi seems to have credit cards and most of the purchase seems to be done by digital transaction considering the rarity of physical cats and how money from your sale on one side of the world can be used to purchase an item on the other side pretty much instantly.

Shopping list may get duplicated, which result in NPCs buy more of the same type of item. The money and income setting of the mod lower in the loading order will overide the mod in the higher loading order. And my modded AI packages will get used, since econ mod has no AI package.

I believe econ mod has better sale in towns and caravans, while mine have better sale with military patrols. Not sure though, haven't looked that deep into the econ mod.

Not possible with current FCS. I already added all item type I could add to the shopping list. So... You got to stick with those stuff on the list for now.

Shopping NPCs are still weird right now. In my experience, NPCs seems to require some time to get the money, despite having minimum money that should have been enough. Then I still honestly don't really understood how some NPCs never seems to have the money, while others bought the whole shopping list, evenif they are the same type NPC from the same squad.

My outpost seems to do better. But probably partly because it was in the frontline and squads spent days fighting before finally get to my outpost and thus have enough time to earn enough money or something.

Dunno both mods gave me nothing im talking about this one and Enhanced Shopping Economy. npc's are just turning away and leaving my stores no matter where it located my own town or any big city.. any advice ? Even if im trying to sell cheapest food, they are coming in and turing away and going to another shop to succesfully buy exact the same item.

i am running into a weird bug(?) where people will say "i cant afford that" 3 times in a row when they go into a shop. it is not really causing any harm, but it seems to happen whenever someone says that phrase that it is repeated 3 times.

Have about 3 shops in 3 different towns, seems like they just keep yelling "I can't afford that" and am selling cheapest food and meds on purpose (100 to 400 cats). Also had some scream I have no room for that item. Not sure if issue is with mod or the game or both. Maybe my expectations for a store are diff. Have not had any guys with tons of cash like u mantioned in a commnet below either.

Whoa!!! Latest patch gave some people HUGE amount of wage. I'm talking about thousand for some random drifters and civilian and ten thousands for caravans here... I'm going to dig around FCS a bit to see how should I adjust this.
