As of now its spacer tech, i myself find it still easy as o have mod for synthread 600 (spacer tech) but untill spacer tier i would have to research 4 200 :d it would be nice road block to snip the speed runners in bud xDD

people complaining, "place it at spacer" ... but its stats and rarity might even put it in archtech ... just so you know game might as well be original x17 with Ultra tier lv of technology that migh as well make research be 25 500 points lmao (if you are industrial) and only *7 if its spacer 10 500 .. you if think 1500 is too little get mod for scaling costs of tier above you ... so unless you research all of your tiers tech and belove you will get disgusting research debuff :D

I just read the description of hyperweave. Holy ***. It is supposed to be insanely advanced technology. I just think the way the mod treats it is not immersive at all. I'd suggest it should only appear on research at the very end of the tree, among spacer stuff. And use the highest and most advanced production table in the game, maybe even create another one (maybe another archotech artifact, a machine that makes the hyperweave using plaststeel and devilstrand, or whatever). I know this is mostly to get rid of the annoyance of not being able to get the material. But maybe there could be a more immersive way?

Id there any chance you can add Synthread to this mod? (Maybe by combining Devilstrand and Cloth?).

The only mod ive ever found to use it is long long dead :(

@Coca, My opinion on the mod
First, i like the idea and i would maybe raise the cost to 2000/spacer

Second, I think adding another recipe for synthread at... lets say:
100x cloth + 10x steel +250 work => 50x synthread
400x cloth + 40x steel +500 work => 200x synthread

I would also add a research for synthread at 2000/industrial


Third i would then modify hyperweave like so (since it is really really strong):
25x plasteel + 50x synthread + 1000 work => 50x Hyperweave
100x plasteel + 200x synthread + 2000 work => 200x hyperweave

Here, that is only my idea on this mod though, i dont know how to work code so i dont know how hard it is to do, so i'm happy as it is too!

Hey there. Haven't tested your mod yet but here's my opinion. ^^ Everything seems to be fine but you could make a version with higher research requirements. 1500 seems a little low for a challenging playthrough considering how f***ing OP Hyperweave is. Cheers :)

Made this mod for my self to be able to craft hyperweave. Let me know if you think it needs balancing.
