If using the more town upgrades mod, do not make any of the skills tier 6 even though there are numbers there, if your stack count is over 10 and you use renge, the character will be locked into the renge animation and you will need to quit the game.

Ingame descriptions are not helpful at all, the character seems to struggle greatly against projectiles. I recommend having him able to cut projectiles, as well as giving the ARROW, more range, and making it a sword wave, a crescent. 3 stars is about right, but the character otherwise is pretty cool in concept. Not sure why you chose for it to be an arrow, but a sword wave would be much cleaner

Also: currently Ouka has an area at the end of the slash that looks like it should be doing damage, but it doesn't. Making it do damage in a circular area at maximum range would make the skill much more useful at clearing enemies.

Sorry for the wall of comments, please read them in reverse order Thought I'd provide some more explanation of the Samurai's ability's after I've played him a fair bit. Five comments total, first is the active abilities, then passives, then two on explaining how the Samurai plays and some criticism, then this one.

Thanks for this mod, he's a very fun character.

You have no defensive abilities or passives other than your ability to AoE stun things with all your abilities, and it only goes up to 1.5 seconds, so definitely consider bringing items like gladiators net or blackjack to help with your survivability, since it is generally very poor in higher NG+ levels even with lifesteal. You pretty much have to melee things to be useful since Ouka is not very long range, which grows in difficulty the higher change you have of being one shot.

Some criticism: I'd like to see Ouka (Q) and Renge (E) have range buffs, and it'd be nice to have a built in passive defensive option other than the stun, like damage reduction or evade chance per Ryoran buff, or while Sanka is active. He's a lot of fun and one of the best balanced custom mod characters to be honest, but he could use a little bit of love to make him more viable in later NG+ levels.

The way the Samurai works is you will melee attack to generate Ryoran stacks on yourself, use your right click to generate a Sanka stack on yourself, then consume both buffs on Ouka (your Q) to deal massive damage in the line in front of you that pierces their armor. Dispatches mini bosses very quickly, and is great for clearing lines of enemies that you've kited around. Unfortunately your E, Renge , does less damage than your Q Ouka , and it's area of effect is pretty low, so you don't want to be spending your buffs on it, and it is generally just used as a small AoE stun around you because of Tsubanari .

You will be looking for physical damage penetration items, primary attack damage modifiers, and even skill damage helps a lot with your Ouka burst damage, so it's decent as well, but not as important as your primary melee attack which does a boatload of damage.

Passives
Tsubanari
When using an ability, deal small AoE damage around the Samurai and stun all enemies hit by it. Damage and stun duration scale with ranks. Magical.

Sanka
When using Kogarashi (your right click dash), apply the Sanka buff to yourself. This buff allows you to cast your charged abilities at full charge damage without charging them. Using those abilities consumes this buff. Rank increases the duration of the Sanka buff, as well as how much extra damage each Ryoran buff applies (4%/6%/8%/10% per Ryoran stack, per rank in Sanka )

Kekka-Ryoran
When hitting enemies with your melee attack Hitohachi (left click), apply the Ryoran buff to yourself, stacks up to 5 times (10 with the second rank). This buff is consumed by your charge abilities to make them deal % extra damage, depending on your rank in Sanka (4%/6%/8%/10% per Ryoran stack, per Sanka rank).

Hitohachi
Small AoE melee attack in front of you, very high base damage. Only goes up in damage with ranks. Physical.

Kogarashi
Dash backwards from your cursor's position and deal a small amount of damage. Applies the Sanka buff on you (one of your passives). Only damage scales with rank. Physical.

Ouka
Charge up and unleash a short range arrow in front of the Samurai. Damage scales with charge level, stacks of Ryoran (your second passive), and if you have Sanka active: is cast at full charge damage no matter how long you've charged it (can be instant cast full damage). Only goes up in damage with ranks. Physical, and pierces 50% of enemy's armor.

Renge
Charge up and unleash a small AoE damage slash around the Samurai. Damage scales with charge level, stacks of Ryoran , and if you have Sanka active: is cast at full charge damage no matter how long you've charged it. Only goes up in damage with ranks. Physical.

Really fun to play. It feels like i'm playing the paladin but all his abilities do the opposite of what they normally do. Some aspects were slightly confusing, but I really appreciate this kind of effort put into character mods. :reheart:

This character's tool tips are very poor. His "Sanka" and "Ryoran" abilities don't have any explanation on them. What even are they? What buffs do they provide? These details should be included in the tool tips for each ability.

Also, unrelated, this character is incredibly weak in NG+. A melee caster with no lifesteal who has to charge his abilities to do damage... That's not a recipe for success. He should have some sort of healing or damage mitigation, because you can't just stand in the middle of a pack of NG+ mobs and charge your abilities in their face.

Overall, the samurai's kit isn't very well-described or well-thought-out.

In multiplayer, there seems to be an incompatibility issue with another mod, disabling my friends from joining. We tried to figure out what it is and it appears to be the Loven's Items mod.

The abilities are very unclear in both the descirption and in the level up system. This definitely needs to be fixed before this can be a high quality mod.

まだダンジョン1回もぐったぐらいしか触ってませんが、弾がプライマリアタックで消せないので、結構脳筋職ですねw
遠距離相手には「後ろ向いて凩⇒蓮華」という突っ込んで斬る戦法か壁の角で出待ちする戦法で何とかしてます。
