I work a more then full time job and am a Father and Husband, it takes me some time to get builds fixed/finished/started.
I appreciate you patience, but it will be fixed.

ʝιɱ ƚԋҽ ριʅσƚ #FixTf2, thanks for your interest! To answer your question, not yet, but it will be.

Jim the Pilot, I'm sorry no not yet. There is alot of issues I need to work out yet.
Space is a real problem with the addition of all the new plumbing required.
Thank you for your patience.

alright thanks good to hear from a talented creator
GERUNIMO  [author] 8 Nov, 2023 @ 7:19pm
Jim the Pilot, I can and I will. In between the flow updates I've been plugging away at it.
Thanks for the continued interest!

UPDATE 04 JUL 2022:
- Improved responsiveness of the trim system
- Increased descent rate slightly
- Rebuilt Sonar System
- Visual changes to the Echo Sounder

ENJOY!
GERUNIMO  [author] 5 May, 2022 @ 1:54pm
cooked rat, the tilting that results from using the vertical motor is a result of drag being induced by the fins at the back. As for the trim-system, it's slow reaction time is intentional, if it reacted quickly the sub would almost never settle on an even keel and using a weight system would consume electricity at a grandiose rate. If you move to the front of the sub, the trim system will adjust, it just takes alittle time for it to do so. At some point I'll try and correct these deficiencies, hope that helps.
FBI party van 5 May, 2022 @ 7:48am
as well as listing in the direction the player is in the sub. for example walking to the front of the sub causes the sub to list forward.
FBI party van 5 May, 2022 @ 7:46am
i also just found that the trim was also affected. basically when ever you turn on the vertical motor to go down it lists forwards even when the trim is completely full in the back
GERUNIMO  [author] 4 May, 2022 @ 4:17pm
cooked rat, yeah probably due for another update :steamfacepalm: I can't ever win! :steamsad: Still should work though.
FBI party van 4 May, 2022 @ 3:17pm
it seems to sink way slower than before
GERUNIMO  [author] 20 Mar, 2022 @ 1:40am
SilverRogue2012, no need to apologize. Glad you figured everything out, it's not the most intuitive of submersible layouts. One of the reason which leads me to believe the real thing had such a short service life (compared to some of it's contemporaries). Anyway, enjoy exploring the deep!
SilverRogue2012 19 Mar, 2022 @ 10:17am
Sorry. I figured out what i did wrong. i flipped the remote control switch which, of course, disable the pilot seat. i also did not notice the seat was hooked up with composite logic. thank you for trying to help.
GERUNIMO  [author] 19 Mar, 2022 @ 1:42am
ProfessorX, these days...pretty much anything capable of towing it that also has an electrical plug :D But, I find any type of Oil Rig Tender (of which there are countless on the workshop) does the job.
Varellus 18 Mar, 2022 @ 10:26pm
@GERUNIMO what do you typically use as a support vessel for this sub you built
GERUNIMO  [author] 18 Mar, 2022 @ 10:07am
SilverRogue2012, all the logic is hooked up and functioning (I just checked). Can you be more specific as to what you have turned on/off and what you are attempting to control?
SilverRogue2012 18 Mar, 2022 @ 7:19am
Most of the logic for the pilot chair is not hooked up so its not possible to drive.
FBI party van 12 Dec, 2021 @ 10:38am
actually never mind i guess it was something that happened in an old save from before you updated with new ballast
GERUNIMO  [author] 11 Dec, 2021 @ 11:54pm
cooked rat, well I just fixed a major flaw in the ballast system and a few other things but I needed some more information from you. When you say "windy" to you mean 'high winds'? It should hold it's own in seas at 50% or lower, but higher then that the control surfaces will likely cause lift and the submersible will take flight. As was, and is common practice with submersibles, launching and recovery is usually done during certain seasons and in decent weather. In this case, I would recommend the same. The fin issue is a common problem with ships. Using fins or wing sections commonly reserved for aircraft in a ship build can result in the vehicle taking flight or rolling, and no amount of 'trim purging' will fix that. Let me know if I'm understanding you correctly or not.
GERUNIMO  [author] 11 Dec, 2021 @ 7:03pm
cooked rat, not a bad idea. Maybe I'll implement a kind of reset that kicks in when the main ballast tanks are empty, or maybe a more responsive trim system would be better. I seem to remember having difficulty with that when I rebuilt it...I'll try again. Thanks for the idea!
FBI party van 11 Dec, 2021 @ 6:19pm
mainly to keep it level on the surface when it is windy
GERUNIMO  [author] 11 Dec, 2021 @ 4:28pm
cooked rat, I suppose I could. I imagine it must have been possible, as the system moved water around rather then say mercury (which was more common on smaller subs); certainly they would have wanted to drain the tanks from time to time. Not sure where the valve or plug to do so would be. I guess I also have to wonder why you would want to do that?
FBI party van 11 Dec, 2021 @ 1:46pm
can you add a way to purge the trim ballast
◁♠Gordo Figaro♤▶ 10 Dec, 2021 @ 2:29am
hehe Thankss, very glad you like my subs as well, awesome you found the sever-2 cool, now that you tell me im really inspired to continue with the Benthos, research soviet sub i was building. Really your aluminaut and the diving saucer are a huge inspiration.
GERUNIMO  [author] 10 Dec, 2021 @ 2:07am
◁♠ Figaro 45 ♤▶, thanks thats means alot! As it was my first real build it has some sentimental value to me, plus I really just like submersibles for some silly reason :D I should mention I REALLY like your submersibles as well! Particularly the Sever-2! Take care!
◁♠Gordo Figaro♤▶ 10 Dec, 2021 @ 12:53am
Love that you are always keeping it up to date, by far my favourite sub in sw!
GERUNIMO  [author] 9 Oct, 2021 @ 7:56pm
UPDATE 09 OCT 2021:
- Improve speed and effectiveness of the ballast control system
- Change the Remote Control Station to the 'Control Handle' allowing for better visibility, vehicle and manipulator control, and the ability to operate the vehicle while in the External View

ENJOY!
GERUNIMO  [author] 25 Jan, 2021 @ 10:40am
Goat Man, yes but it's only powering the shot ballast pumps. When your making this "speed check" are the batteries fully charged?
Goat Man 25 Jan, 2021 @ 10:21am
IS there an infinite gen inside also it seems to top out at 1 knot
GERUNIMO  [author] 10 Jan, 2021 @ 12:12pm
That One Raccoon, I did one of her sisters DSV Turtle, if that helps.
Schro 10 Jan, 2021 @ 8:41am
Hey maybe you can recreate the DSV Alvin?
GERUNIMO  [author] 23 Dec, 2020 @ 6:18pm
Likeyboi, sorry your having trouble, what part of the directions didn't you understand?
