@Mox Moshi Hi, the skins in the client mod is just for display, if you want to use them with Cherry Forest, you need to use the Modded skin API, we've linked it on the mod description :)

@4甜甜 so you can start again to befriend cherrylings when your reputation is over 30%, Wirly starts at 50% but only if you took her as the first character, otherwise your base reputation will be 30%, little bonus info :)
We want to add a visual clue of what's the player reputation when it's finished but for now you can use the command c_getrep() to know your reputation

Hurting cherrylings do remove a bit of reputation but not so much because I'm aware of possible misclick, however killing them really do remove a bunch, so be mindful of that, also cutting down / burning cherry trees, especially the cheerful one does remove reputation if done within the forest, however if you plant back behind you this will negate or even increase it. For the most you can probably figure what's good / bad, helping the Dayliling Bud in the bloomprint questline is currently a good way to restore it but there will be more important interaction soon, have fun !

when I met them at first time I just hit a cherryling but did not kill it.After all I just ran away and fed some flowers with three cherrlings,also I fed 80 potato(vegetable) to the cherryling bud which can promote reputation.I pretty sure that because I can see the fairyflies in spring.So that I cannot make sure my reputation being enough or not.Can you make it clear which bad actions I did will lost reputation?I also wave to pigmans and catcoons into friends that me and my friends can kill them to get meat,do this action will lost too?Really appreciate it.

@4甜甜 Hi, if by elf you mean the cherrylings, they have a specific condition to be a friend from the waving interaction being your Forest Reputation, it's not a totally completed feature so it's probably why you didn't hear about it yet but it already has some effects such as this one.
So it's likely that you have lost too much by doing certain bad actions in the mod, but you can still reincrease by helping around in the biome, replanting Cherry Trees behind, feeding the cherrylings manually, play some hide & cherries minigame and a lot more. Once you have enough the cherrylings will respond to the waving interaction again. :)

hi ADM,this mod is super adorable but this character cannot change little cherry elf into my friends when I use the wave hand with them.And this character is not distant from the elf.But I can do this to pigman and catcoon.Do you know why?

@Mythily Yep noticed that :( I'll fix it somewhere tomorrow after some sleep, but from what I noticed in the crash, if you turn off the loading tips config of the mod it should be fixed for now

You'll have to update this, todays update causes it to crash on launch.

@leslie92 Hmm... that's weird ! Could you please try with no other mod than this one and cherry forest in a test world to see if it persist ? If it's fixed, try to see which one was causing the problem by enabling them little by little. If it bugs by itself, then we'll need to check a few more things. :)

That info is what l needed, thank you. l will now download the server mod and the usual rules apply; whoever has server mod, can play as Wirly.

@DeadSpace47 It's actually because of the latest update, I removed Wirly from being playable exclusively with the client mod, this was causing a few issues that could have eventually be ignored but I wasn't satisfied of the game having crashes because of duplicated assets between reloads from players that also had CF (that has been fixed), also I was asked way too often about how to joins worlds with the character because people didn't use the server mod, so, now it should be more clear. :)

Tho you can get the same result by adding Cherry Forest to your world, we added an option to not add the biome during worldgen if that's a problem. So this mod here is mostly to add extras to the menu + minigames and the keybind + hud button to wave as Wirly.

Obviously, because of the new update; a lot of mods are not working until they get updated. Now, even when l play solo, won't let me play as Wirly. Just making sure that the theory l said, is true.

@KingDomRock I have to update the description since the last update but, this mod was supposed to be a way to play Wirly without CF and add some menu features server mod couldn't have like extra keybind for waving and hud buttons.
So you should use this mod if you play Wirlywings for extra comfort or just to have the new menu features we added if you like Cherry Forest, there's new musics in the menu, themes, loading screens and tips
Oh and a new trade inn minigame with skins that will be added to the server mod soon

@DeadSpace47 well yeah, if the server doesn't recognize the character because it doesn't have access to the assets and scripts, it just cannot work.

l don't mean me as the host, just joining others because l tried once, l got stuck on a white screen after selecting her.

@DeadSpace47 depends, if you play with the client mod only then other players can join if they have the client mod too, CF is not really required but every players' games need to recognize the character on their side at least

Hi everyone ! I'm updating this mod for a pretty unexpected update.
So, this one is bringing most of recent fixes on Wirlywings, you can have a the news on the Klei's Forum link, and I've also switched this mod to a CLIENT mod !

Which mean that Wirly can be player on your servers even if you don't have any server mod, and it is of course compatible with Cherry Forest enabled itself, this new feature allow me to also include Wirlywings portrait in the menu so you can see if you're playing her on your games.

I hope you enjoy playing her btw, her last updates is mostly what we can call a refresh ! So if you don't know what's new I invite you to try out playing Wirlywings with Cherry Forest and look on the guide for details. She's pretty much a high tier character if you know how to deal with the sharing and befriend perk. See you soon !
