Wait, what? I'm not even aware you could change it, and I sure as shit did not do so in this mod.

And I could've sworn that some sniper rifles don't have a zoom in sound while others do.

my only complaint about this gun is the scope in sound, you should change it back to the default scope in sound or get a different one

I have long since moved most of my icons to Gamemaps into "mass graves". Also, I will update this mod someday and it will get a built in icon.

I don't remember, but it involved dropping in a room full of explosive barrels, bots shooting them, and everybody dying.

Maybe it was Dark Blood, can anyone correct me if I'm wrong?

I think this is one of you best mods. I feel like there's less military sniper mods than there are for other guns, but this is one of the 5/5 ones for sure imo.

I found pretty good firing sound for this, but its a bit tricky to get to work. Its missing addoninfo.txt file, but i at least got it working by copying the sound files into another sniper sound mod after deleting its sounds first.

@Game Hajimeyou, yeah, the actual unused MK12 sound is more fitting for a .50 cal rifle, so these can be generally flipped around.

@nowhere, it's just a visual glitch, nothing horrible. The stats of the guns are server-side (the custom scripts only work on your own host). When you have a script that has a different capacity and try to reload, the game checks if your current ammo capacity is equal to the script's value. If not, the reload animation begins playing, but the server says that the gun is fully loaded and stops it. This in-fighting between the client and the server scripts happens for the duration of the reloading animation, resulting in those weird spastic movements.

@nowhere, this is most likely caused by a script when you play online. When you try to reload a full rifle and it doesn't have the same capacity as the script, it wants to reload, but it can't, but it wants to, but can't, etc...

This is good mod and in fact I like it a lot but it suffers from a nervous twitch when you press your bind reload button. Real funny. A weapon with a spazz attack.

@Codiak, it's just that the Mosin has a slower reload due to its clip not being automatically ejected when you close the bolt, unlike most other rifles. One of the reasons it's called a "garbage rod".

It's great that you prefer a different set of Arby's anims, but that one was designed for the default L4D2 SCAR, which has a horribly wide (almost SCAR-H-like) magazine.

@mr mukul daging, yeah that M16... I know, eugh. Dunno about the texture, but the oddly placed front sight (it is actually modeled down there on top of the barrel, can't see why they placed it inside the handguard) the glued-on rails, the awkward flash hider... The receiver is reused from the M4A1 model, complete with the rail riser, therefore they downscaled the carry handle to level it with the front sight. For that same reason, the stock is attached to the same M4-style tube. Also, the magazine is shaped like a banana.

The MP5K wasn't cut, it was just a misnomer. The full-sized MP5 fully replaced it. The M240 has probably stepped aside to make way for the glorious return of the M60. And yes, the models of MW3 are inferior to those made by Treyarch. MW3 on itself was a huge step back, almost a copy of MW2 with different models, sounds, and weird balance decisions.

I know that the game has some other weapons being cut, such as MP5K (that was also modelled from the full MP5) and M240 of MW2, but somehow that bothered me less

Instead, maybe one of the truest abomination to me is the M16A4, starting from the unfamiliar carry handle, the front sight and the flash hider, and the somewhat misplaced texture on the receiver if you paid attention as much as I did
