No, your game should be fine. Fluppi's mostly just listening for feedback to the new map so most of the community will like it when it's released.

@cpbeav Right click, go into properties, click betas, click the drop down menu and select experimental. That'll get you in the game version that has the new map.

@battleboy Right click BR, go to properties, click betas, and switch to experimental mode to play the map.. or wait a couple of weeks till its released
