Yeah I'll work on it this weekend or next when I get Odyssey DLC, but it should be safe to add, honestly I haven't done any big changes to the code since 1.4

Ok I fixed it, seems like it wasn't recognizing a part of the code, try again and come back wherever it works or doesn't

Ok so I looked at the code and checked in game to test what you said, this mod makes the Smelter and Refinery work with the vanilla toolbox and this mod toolboxes just fine, but for some reason the Brewery doesn't work, not even with other mod toolboxes, so maybe it's like you said, hard-excluded.

Please check your modlist, do some testing with only this mod and report back, although I don't play RimWorld that much anymore and my coding skills have degraded, I'll try to help.

Does vanilla brewery, smelter and refinery are hard-excluded from compatibility? Cause they can be linked to vanilla (and other modded) toolboxes except for this mod

@HinanawiTenko Alright, I looked at Glittetech's code and it looks like the pharmaceutical table is the only one that uses the vanilla toolbox, the others don't, either Glittertech's owner adds it to each worktable or I'll have to see how to add these toolboxes to them, but I haven't modded in a long time so it would take me a while to add it, I might test tomorrow but no promises.

Atm, it doesn't link to Glittertech. There may be others but not on my mod list to test. Oddly enough More Linkables works with GT, which is why I assumed it was GT giving the problem. Haven't run into any others as of yet.

This mod still works with 1.4, I have been very busy with work and uni but I'll update it soon, it's a simple update anyways.

@HinanawiTenko Then it's not this mod's fault, what this mod does is add these toolboxes to tables that already work with the vanilla toolbox by a simple patch, be it vanilla or modded, tell me the mod that doesn't work with this, maybe I can give it a look later.

Mod works as is....kinda. It only links to Vanilla-ish tables (Vanilla, Expanded, et) Fully modded tables are YMMV.

While I'm not a modder, verifying the code against the core and creating a new 1.4 folder and copying the 1.3 stuff into it then adding a line in the about to have 1.4 in there, I didn't get any errors when just using this. I did also try again after loading my 300 or so mods and couldn't find a work bench which did not see the cabinets and all of them seem to increase it's work speed. You may be good doing this or if someone has already ask Mile to see if they wanted to have this added to their already huge work load, they can wait for them to pick it up.

Yo I haven't played RimWorld seriously in a long time, I will get Biotech eventually but I'm not into the modding scene anymore (Not like I'm a good modder anyways) so don't expect any updates from me anytime soon, I'm totally ok if somebody else decides to take this mod and update it, I'm not sure about horologium though, he gave me the ownership some years ago but it's still his own idea and original creator, if that guy Mile is still active and willing to take this then go for it.

Well I didn't get any errors when testing so I guess it works fine, I only changed some research tab stuff and added sounds when the cabinets get destroyed, other than that, it's still the same as before.

Damn I didn't think people were actively using this mod after all this time, I'm just comming back to RimWorld after a long time without playing, I might see what I can do about this mod since I lost the files long time ago and don't remember anything about how it works, I'll check later or tomorrow but no promises.

This mod should be safe to add, almost all of it is done through patching which is a safe process. It is always smart to back up your save before adding a new mod however :6face:

1.2 has been very mod-friendly for the majority of mods. It's quite likely you only need to add the <li>1.1</li> line to supported versions in the About file. If you need help beyond that we would be happy to update the files and make them available to you.

I want to but I have been very busy to do so, also I haven't played RimWorld in a while and haven't checked the change notes from 1.2. I don't have any problem if Mile want to update this mod, I know he's good updating dead or outdated mods but I'm not sure about Holo, if he's fine with it then go ahead but please, give credit and post the link here so others can install it.

Just a heads up, the 1.0 version of the game can't load textures from a version specific folder so the textures folder still needs to be at the root of the mod to be compatible with 1.0.

oh, cheer up. Fortunately, I find how to compatible mod's table and toolboxes from More Linkables mod(1103809207). Very simple xml need to compatible each other. If need xml format, I will upload xml here.

Sorry for those who are having problems with other mods, I haven't played RimWorld in a few months now due college so I haven't checked this mod either, also I don't know yet how to make it compatible with other mods, when semester ends, which should be in 1 month, I'll get back to RimWorld and will try to fix this mod and make it compatible with others but I make no promise on that since I'm not that good at programming.

hello, may I ask you how compatible to Rimsenal(725947920) and Girls' frontline Weapon Pack(1835440813) table?
Rimsenal - Feral(736207111) and Rimsenal - Federation(736172213) table are work with this mod, but Rimsenal(725947920) and Girls' frontline Weapon Pack(1835440813) table dont work this mod. only tier 1 toolbox is working.

Ok I have updated the mod and hopefully it fixes the problem when placing the toolboxes and resources being wasted if this doesn't work then please try chaging mod order, there might be a mod overwriting something from this mod. Keep me updated please.

Is the error I get when I built it in God mode. I get a similar error when I build any tier in normal gameplay. It doesn't get built and the resources are wasted. I'd troubleshoot if Rimworld didn't take me 15 minutes to start... I'd be willing to bet that it's some tiny typo somewhere or something, I've had similar errors with mods I've made in the past and it's always way less threatening than the error log makes it seem.
