Do you need the original mod enabled to use your mod avibird

Check groups in 3den.Most works are in there.Some missions requires this.And check the "change log" in this page.

I dont see anything functional about this mod. I just went through the files and see only configs from what I can tell. No custom factions or changes, what's the mod intended to do exactly?

I do think so.I have renamed this mod.This name would be fit it better

This mod is supposed to fix Units, not add more. Otherwise its inappropriately named. I thought it was going to fix the errors i get when certain units, weapons, attachments and such don't register. Disappointing. I'm gonna have to negatively rate this mod till either the name is changed appropriately, or it does what it say and fixes those errors.
