>The fact is, neither Lenin nor any other soviet leader declared that there was Communism in the Union. And their party was called Communist because this party wanted to create a new kind of society, where everyone will have same rights and there won’t be Rich and Poor.

Soviets did establish comintern (decyphered as Communist Internationale), openly proclaim that they're aiming to create a communist society (nothing can be further from the truth) and put the word "communist" in basically every context possible. In fact, Stellaris "Shared Burdens" civic, despite being ultimate depiction of communism, doesn't actually refer to communism in any way but does much better job at depicting it than real "communist" regimes. Quite a twist, huh.
Super Crow  [author] 25 Jun, 2020 @ 3:09pm
>The in-game name of the government (like Representative Democracy or Celestial Empire) reflect the real situation in the separate empire (empire in game of course). And it doesn’t matter what its propaganda says, if the people in the state are under the police oppression with the Police civic, it would be called the “Police state”.

Most of those names have nothing to do with real forms of government (a police state isn't actually a form of government either), and my names aren't based on any real concepts as well (hence "Utopian Empire", for one). Even with "Communist State" being a real combination of words with definition of a "state that is administered and governed by a single communist party", it only points to the fact that this country has a communist economy running, which leads me to the next point:
Super Crow  [author] 25 Jun, 2020 @ 3:09pm
>So by your mod this boundary of understanding the real state’s structure is broken, we can even call the Holy Guardians fallen empire as a “Communist state”, if it had special civic

This special civic is quite restrictive and will forcefully restructure any government's economy system to equal share status to literally everyone, including rulers, workers and slaves if present. It's not my or your place to restrict potential RP explanation for there being a religious state with communist economy - Stellaris is literally a game about alien cultures, and we cannot possibly except to understand all the mechanics behind their political decisions.
Super Crow  [author] 25 Jun, 2020 @ 3:09pm
Even in case of Human race, it's very easy to imagine a government that aspires for equal utopian distribution of resources amongst all of it's population (aka communist economy), but uses an empowered council/leader to keep this distribution in check (aka not communist government). What do I do with that kind of a country? Well, calling it a communist society would be pretty fair, considering that recent history presents us with multitude of "communist" countries that were actually nothing of a sort.
DNKTATOR 25 Jun, 2020 @ 1:52pm
The fact is, neither Lenin nor any other soviet leader declared that there was Communism in the Union. And their party was called Communist because this party wanted to create a new kind of society, where everyone will have same rights and there won’t be Rich and Poor.

The in-game name of the government (like Representative Democracy or Celestial Empire) reflect the real situation in the separate empire (empire in game of course). And it doesn’t matter what its propaganda says, if the people in the state are under the police oppression with the Police civic, it would be called the “Police state”.

So by your mod this boundary of understanding the real state’s structure is broken, we can even call the Holy Guardians fallen empire as a “Communist state”, if it had special civic
Super Crow  [author] 24 Jun, 2020 @ 4:40pm
@DNKTATOR

Yeah, surely this is only a thing which ever happened in propaganda. Except for all the countries throughout history that proclaimed themselves communist while being as far from communism as is modern USA (Soviet Union for easy examples). And all those economical theories, including Lenin's that actually diffirintiate communist economy from communist governmental structure, introduce socialism as a medium ground and do a lot of other stuff. And all those potential alien governments that can potentially be based on completely different principles and history which humans cannot even begin to comprehend (keyword is "alien", after all). Small exceptions to the rule, after all.

Im sure you do
星辰耀龙 19 May, 2020 @ 3:34am
sir,need update for 2.7
Super Crow  [author] 27 Apr, 2020 @ 8:38pm
@princess69420

Idk then, you'd probably need to send me screenshots, error logs, etc if Im to make anything out of it.
princess69420 27 Apr, 2020 @ 6:56pm
@UED Black Raven yeah, i did all of that, twice.
explodoboy 27 Apr, 2020 @ 11:55am
Make sure when you make a local copy of a workshop mod that you're not subscribed to the Workshop mod in question. Stellaris' launcher will refuse to load two identical mods, even if both would otherwise work.
Super Crow  [author] 27 Apr, 2020 @ 9:27am
@princess69420
Did you do the usual steps of clearing out mod_registry.json, clearing out your documents folder, resubbing to the mod, making local copy of the mod?
princess69420 26 Apr, 2020 @ 5:24pm
@UED Black Raven The mod isn't working for me even if i have it as the only active mod. i'm playing on 2.6.2
explodoboy 26 Apr, 2020 @ 1:18pm
You might want to load the mod at the bottom of your mod load order so that other mods don't overwrite this mod.
Super Crow  [author] 25 Apr, 2020 @ 4:06pm
Can be any number of reasons, you'll need to be more specific
princess69420 25 Apr, 2020 @ 2:52am
why isn't this working for me?
Super Crow  [author] 17 Apr, 2020 @ 7:03pm
@explodoboy

It shouldn't
explodoboy 16 Apr, 2020 @ 11:19am
Does this mod overwrite any vanilla files? I'm using Ethics and Civics Alternative and want to use the two mods together (screw you, democracy! you can't make me forfeit my starlord title because you think only democracies can be communist!)
Super Crow  [author] 13 Apr, 2020 @ 4:13pm
Ya it works on 2.6.3
星辰耀龙 11 Apr, 2020 @ 7:08pm
2.6.3
Super Crow  [author] 1 Apr, 2020 @ 10:35pm
Updated.
Apparently they removed bunch of restrictions from Syncretic Evolution since it became an origin, so now you can have that and shared burdens simaltaniously even in vanilla.

TY I needed this
ModelV 16 Aug, 2019 @ 8:49am
Well I tested it and slavery still seemed... odd. Pops were refusing to employ. I recommend putting an "unless enslaved xeno" line under the Shared Burden exclusion for Basic Subsistence. I think it's the cleaner solution for Xenophobe support.
Super Crow  [author] 16 Aug, 2019 @ 7:14am
Updated btw, removed all civic restriction except for Imperial Cult. Not my place to point to you how to make roleplaying.
Super Crow  [author] 16 Aug, 2019 @ 7:11am
@ModelV

I think not, Shared Burdens removes the ability of setting basic subsistence as it is.
ModelV 15 Aug, 2019 @ 10:52pm
How does this mod interact with the living standards of Xeno Slaves? Can you still set them to basic subsistence? I would certainly hope so.
Lord Sam Sinister 29 Mar, 2019 @ 5:41pm
That's good, thank you!
Super Crow  [author] 28 Mar, 2019 @ 9:26pm
@Furaigon

It makes them unhappy if you don't have residents or slaves
Lord Sam Sinister 28 Mar, 2019 @ 3:15pm
Does the Authoritarian Faction accept Shared Burdens for their Stratified Society demand or does it make them unhappy?
LNSS 3 Mar, 2019 @ 11:23am
Some ideas for more government types:

Shared Burdens + Oligarchy = Vanguard State: This state is led by a Vanguard Party which is constitutionally enshrined as having a leading role in the country's life.

Egalitarian Ethos + Shared Burdens Civic + Parliamentary Civic + Democratic = Socialist Democracy: A democratic state in which all political factions have committed to the ideal that all sentients should have easy access to basic necessities.

Militarist Ethos + Shared Burdens Civic + Idealistic Foundation + Democratic/Oligarchy = Revolutionary Republic: A young state recently formed after a violent revolution which overthrew the previous order.

Egalitarian Ethos + Shared Burdens + Merchant Guilds + Democratic/Oligarchy = Syndicalist Republic. A state in which all political and economic power has been deposited into a supreme congress of worker's confederations.
