But be warned : ever since I started drawing a comic that takes lots of my free time, the interval between my uploads on steam workshop has risen quite a bit!
But with patience, it should happen eventually
It's all classic public domain christmas music anyways. Even if I am wrong and this particular version is copyrighted, it's a very, very minor offense compared to what often happens in this game, or on the Internet in general.
I'll try a few new things to fight the lag issue later. I am not sure i'll find a proper way, though. Even deleted lights seem to be slowing things down somehow... so I'll need to learn more things about that editor.
YuNO
but anyway great map!
It actually lags a little bit on my own computer as well. But I have hope that the engine will be improved and I may even further improve the events for optimization.
Right now I really needed to take a break from this, though. The "choice" at the beginning shows there is potential for a complete solution, though. Maybe I should actually remove all lights and have the global lighting change to something much lighter.
It wouldn't look as good, but it would be very frame-rate friendly for sure.
Design is great, good luck!
I really wanted to push my limits with this map and I overdid it a little. I am not excluding making a rework with a 3rd lighting option some day, as even the "less lights mode" is still pretty taxing to the GPU.
Glad you liked the map anyways :)
< 60FPS on 9700K RTX 2080 16GB DDR4 @3000 on 1440p all max. :'D
But great Map! :)
If you encountered the bug please consider updating to the new version I just uploaded.
