thank you for this mod
FunnelVortex 22 Jul, 2023 @ 11:21am
For those who are wondering, yes, this mod still works as of the most recent version.
Palillo  [author] 12 Jun, 2020 @ 5:13am
Sorry, but I haven't played in almost 2 months and I don't have the time right now. But whoever wants is free to take the files and modify them to adapt them to the current version and publish it.
Redcoat123 11 Jun, 2020 @ 1:44am
I can't seem to get it to work :(
loopmaster69 6 May, 2020 @ 6:21am

Doesn't work.
ekoparker 6 Apr, 2020 @ 1:27pm
Bettttt I've been waiting for this my entire life
Palillo  [author] 6 Apr, 2020 @ 12:02pm
It should work as the condition is not having pacifist ethic.
ekoparker 6 Apr, 2020 @ 11:29am
Does this work with ethics and civics alternative?
Palillo  [author] 4 Apr, 2020 @ 12:41pm
Check that it is not due to other mods by activating only this one. In the policies tab you should see the option Armageddon within the bombing policies. In my games it works perfectly.
Vumpalouska 3 Apr, 2020 @ 6:00am
Doesn't seem to be working.

working with 2,6 or update planned?
Birbucifer 26 Nov, 2019 @ 8:55pm
This mod isn't working for me. I'm not sure why but the bombardment policy still only has two options.
Major Albedo 4 Sep, 2019 @ 1:58pm
@Memekip The Ultra God
Pfft. That is nothing. See that planet? I'm committing EXTERMINATUS.
Memekip 18 Jul, 2019 @ 3:11am
welp time to vIOLATE THE GENEVA CONVENTION
Element 5 Jul, 2019 @ 10:08pm
I think it's unnatural how much I enjoy tombing enemy planets
Attarum 21 Jun, 2019 @ 5:44pm
Correction it won't turn enemy worlds into tombs at all. It will kill all the pops, but it won't nuke the planet afterward. It used to work but there seems to be some change in the last patch or so that interferes, in short the fault seems to be on paradox end.
Birdan 19 Jun, 2019 @ 8:35pm
This wont always turn planets to tomb worlds for some reason
Palillo  [author] 12 Jun, 2019 @ 4:38pm
I just checked it for Hive Minds and it works. Remember that the mod does not allow you to put the bombing mode of your fleets in armageddon directly, but allows the armageddon option in the policies tab. If you are not allowed the option in the policies tab is that another mod is interfering. To check it you can deactivate the rest of mod.
ZJK 11 Jun, 2019 @ 9:37pm
Is it a mod conflict I'm experiencing, or does this mod not give Hive Minds the capacity to tomb a world?
Palillo  [author] 15 May, 2019 @ 7:36am
If you use a few mods it's easy, but if you use a lot, it's a pain in the ass. You should look at all the mods and check if they modify the policies folder, if so, then check if they change the bombing policy part. If so, then change only that part, in this case the simplest thing that you copy what is written in the notebook of my mod. Problem, if the other person updates the mod you would have to repeat this again since the mod is downloaded again undoing the change. As I say it is a pain in the ass. I do not use Zeneth of the fallen empires for that very reason, instead I mount a mod that mixes a bit of Zeneth of the fallen empires, Dark Matter Power Creation and PJs :: Becoming to Fallen Empire. This solution the problem is that it takes time and effort.
W1ldf1re 15 May, 2019 @ 7:12am
Just wondering if you could point me in the right direction for modding i love playing with Zeneth of the fallen empires but like you said it clashes so i want to know how to fix this issue in all mods i play with and may make in the future
Palillo  [author] 14 May, 2019 @ 3:27pm
I am aware that there are some mods, especially those that touch policy things, that make this mod not work. This is because some modders have the bad habit of copying and pasting the entire notebook even if they are only going to change a part of it. In those cases I can not do anything, with The Zenith of Fallen Empires 2.0 I for example had to manually change the part of the bombing policy, because although the mod that part did not change it with respect to the vanilla, the modder copied and pasted also the parts that he did not modify, so he overwrote my mod.
ekoparker 14 May, 2019 @ 1:11pm
I don't think this is working with the government + mod that expands perks. That's my only guess
Palillo  [author] 7 May, 2019 @ 12:48pm
I just checked, now it works.
A Random Cogboy 10 Apr, 2019 @ 6:31pm
Just tested it, and no, it seems to be broken.
A Random Cogboy 7 Apr, 2019 @ 3:12pm
Does it still work?
Dr. Nolegs 6 Mar, 2019 @ 9:57pm
Frankly In the current patch of the game, not having armageddon bombing when they deathstack 3 police presincts in one world on all of the AI Worlds is just infuriating.
obssesednuker 8 Feb, 2019 @ 9:50am
That's kinda actually my point: making Armageddon available in connection with the finishing of the colossus project sort of represents the national leadership going "you know, now that we've committed to being able to blow up planets whenever we feel like it... what's the point in being so restrained in our orbital bombardment policy?"
Palillo  [author] 8 Feb, 2019 @ 7:10am
mmm, I do not see much sense because being able to do an Armageddon bombardment does not depend on your technology, you have nuclear weapons since the beginning of the game, it is a political decision of whether you should or not.
obssesednuker 7 Feb, 2019 @ 4:31pm
Here's a suggestion for a spin-off mod: how about finishing the Colossus project unlocking Armageddon bombardment?
Slynx Jewel 29 Jan, 2019 @ 5:03pm
oh...only -20. that's why i've missed it :D thanks for the clarifications though.

and i guess my usual warfare tactics is to blame too. i use raiding bombardment to reduce the population...and then armageddon to finish planet off (cuz my goal in the war not to win, but to destroy opponent entirely)
Palillo  [author] 29 Jan, 2019 @ 4:01pm
That last part is at the end of the next page of the Wiki - https://stellaris.paradoxwikis.com/Land_warfare - that is independent of the orbital bombardment policy, so it should continue to have effect.
Palillo  [author] 29 Jan, 2019 @ 4:01pm
I'm sorry for not answering before, I've had a busy month.

@Emperor Newt It should work with everyone except pacifists, including Gestalt Consciousness. If it does not work for you, it is most likely due to incompatibility with another mod.

@Slynx Jewel I do not understand what it says in the description of the mod, but it does seem to modify the bombardment, so it should not be compatible. Armageddon bombardment has diplomatic penalties. For having the policy of Armageddon bombardment you have a penalty of -10 and -20 from Pacifist Empires and Fanatic Pacifists respectively, it must be indicated as Bombardment Policy. Further, "each pop killed by Orbital Bombardment lowers the Diplomacy opinion of every non Militarist and Fanatic Militarist empire, particularly Pacifist and Fanatic Pacifist ones. Fallen Empires also ignore it, with the exception of the Benevolent Interventionists".
Tiberius 28 Jan, 2019 @ 8:02pm
You can never be to sure.
Slynx Jewel 16 Jan, 2019 @ 4:36am
i guess it's not compatible with https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=887011008 ?
also... i've missed something or setting you bombardment to armageddon doesn't cause any sort of diplomatic penalty at all? (unlike unrestricted wars that upset pacifists)

probably for the best though. less compatibility issues
Emperor Newt 8 Jan, 2019 @ 12:27am
I'm guessing this won't work on Machine Intelligence? Just tested it out and it doesn't seem to show up in the Policies, @Palillo.
BarbarianJoe21 14 Dec, 2018 @ 9:52pm
yeah it showed up, guess I was just being dumb, sorry!
Palillo  [author] 14 Dec, 2018 @ 9:24pm
Have you seen that the orbital bombardment policy you have in Armageddon?
BarbarianJoe21 14 Dec, 2018 @ 4:39pm
OK, its just that I've tried changing my bombardment stance and I still only have limited and indiscriminate. I'm playing an Authouritarian, militarist, materialist Empire
Palillo  [author] 14 Dec, 2018 @ 2:52pm
save-game compatible
BarbarianJoe21 14 Dec, 2018 @ 2:28pm
Is this save-game compatible, or do I need to start a new game to use this?
Palillo  [author] 13 Dec, 2018 @ 9:59am
Pacifists do not like to bomb civilians even if these "civilians" do not have their own conscience. The main problem is that pacifists have a negative modifier of opinion towards empires that have a policy of indiscriminate bombardment or armageddon bombardment. It would be as if the egalitarians could have the slavery allowed.
Pip 13 Dec, 2018 @ 9:00am
I've been looking for this! Should be useable for all! Why would'nt a pacifist faction nuke a hungry, devouring Hive Mind Swarm.
