Ah yes, try to alter it and Klang will punish you for your crimes against reality. To alter a work of divine art is to spit upon its maker, and Klang doesn’t like that.

Every time I see this I think "this should be an alien relic"

Now that I'm typing this, I'm realizing that it's just another way of saying "It belongs in a museum!"
RandomGuy0400 11 Oct, 2019 @ 7:01am
seriously, how does this work
Longy16 30 Jul, 2019 @ 9:48am
how can i make a ship with floaty things
Schmooples 5 May, 2019 @ 9:53pm
Awesome work! How do u do that? i want to make a couple endless space riftborn inspired ships and they have a lot of floaty things.
Timtee [CVHN] 13 Apr, 2019 @ 9:55am
This sort of stuff confuses me with how it is held together really
Indrasil 4 Apr, 2019 @ 3:15pm
Ahh, the floating gizmo of a spaceship held together by a wish and a wit. The inspiration for me and our mind- and game-bending Ring. This will truly hold a special place in my mind.

Looks great
Leo_Draconus 10 Mar, 2019 @ 9:51am
What sorcery is this?!!! O.O
Mike Loeven 25 Feb, 2019 @ 10:12am
Although It might be possible to make a modded block that consists of attachment points but no physical entity which could be used to fill the empty spaces and make it more stable Think Shaostouls force fields but full light armor blocks and no visible texture
Mike Loeven 25 Feb, 2019 @ 10:08am
Do you have a tutorial video on how to execute the invisible grid bug ?
insanity 19 Jan, 2019 @ 11:26am
Just an amazing idea alone but to actually make it is something else!! Keep up the great work!
Ryck Meister 2 Jan, 2019 @ 4:17am
Love it even more now that I actually tested it! Beutiful as usual, however...... When I enterred planetary gravity..... The ship started to spinn by itself! I basicly became a bayblade xD Love it otherwise!
SpaaaaaaceMouse 25 Dec, 2018 @ 10:44am
@TheSilverInfinity - Yeah, nothing wrong with mods. Just make it easy for people to set them up with a blueprint.
TheSilverInfinity 23 Dec, 2018 @ 4:53pm
@SpaaaaaaceMouse - I getcha on that, thats why my builds usually are
A) Vanilla or
B) use mods that are extremely popular and are amoung the most used, such as the Star Wars Weapons mod and the Azimuth Mega Mod Pack

and I really do get annoyed when people make ships with like 1000 mods and upload them as a blueprint, not a world :P
TheSilverInfinity 23 Dec, 2018 @ 4:51pm
also, wonder what you used to make the piece float like that? the old rotor trick?
I havent had a chance to really go and check it out :P
Bonifatius 23 Dec, 2018 @ 3:02pm
Wonderfuil design! Love yours art-works!
I sawed your boat in half! 22 Dec, 2018 @ 10:24am
honestly I kinda just want to fill it with armed warheads and ram something, watching as shards of beautiful ship slam into another ship and explode with even more beautiful SE physics.
Adaline  [author] 22 Dec, 2018 @ 2:48am
@spacemouse -like I said I love playing with mods. Sadly they kill my sunscriptions. My next item is a world that uses just one mod, I fear it won't do well but that never stops me form posting pretty things.
SpaaaaaaceMouse 21 Dec, 2018 @ 8:20pm
I love mod ships, don't get me wrong, but SE handles them kinda badly. Getting blueprints to work with mods (unless its just one or two that are clearly listed) is a massive pain. It likely requires guessing and hunting through the workshop to drop into the map and hope it works. I much prefer mod ships are uploaded as worlds. Eliminates the problem entirely.
Then you have the occasional ship that used dozens or hundreds of mods. Yeah.... No. XD
Adaline  [author] 21 Dec, 2018 @ 3:39am
@silver - I say just that in my video, but you got the refence anyway : )
TheSilverInfinity 20 Dec, 2018 @ 9:13pm
WOAH - floating bits? Havent seen that style in a while
I bet the name Didact is a reference to Halo and the Forerunner's love of floating bits on their ships lol
Adaline  [author] 20 Dec, 2018 @ 3:53am
Well I try to please most people; so I make pretty ships in vanilla and give them away for free. But when I get home from a long day in the ship yards I draw the curtains closed. I pull out a box tissues and play with some 20 active mods. The tissues are for my tears of joy.
Stollie 20 Dec, 2018 @ 1:11am
You know the saying about not being able to please all the people all the time :D

I'm guessing a lot of people want vanilla versions for MP servers where they can't control the mods, so I wouldn't take it personally.
Adaline  [author] 20 Dec, 2018 @ 12:46am
@stollie- I've built some awesome stuff with mods, I even use mods to help me build my vanilla ships. They help me with power management, airtightness, and thruster damage. BUT, everytime I post a ship on the workshop with mods, people won't subscribe, or worse they complain.
Stollie 19 Dec, 2018 @ 7:37pm
Looks cool!

Going with a modded version, you could make blocks that hold the 'parts' together with some kind of particle beam texture or an actual pulsing/moving particle effect with some scripting help.

I'm on the other side of the fence with Vanilla vs Modded, I only used modded ships :D

Would be cool to see a decked out modded version not limited by vanilla constraints for us non purists.
RED DRAGON 19 Dec, 2018 @ 3:31pm
great ship and video, how did you make it?
overwerk 19 Dec, 2018 @ 10:54am
well now that i made it invincible to damage the ship is actualy a great showpeice
oniris 19 Dec, 2018 @ 4:29am
I was looking for a weird looking ship...Guess i found it.
J4R 19 Dec, 2018 @ 4:28am
Thank you! Too bad the entire thing breaks when the grid rechecks. I had plannned to use this to create rotating "spin gravity" sections.

Guess I'll have to look into other methods of doing that, maybe these modded blocks work? I'll try at least!
LightningwingDragon 18 Dec, 2018 @ 7:40pm
@Adaline Thanks.
Cosmonaut 18 Dec, 2018 @ 9:54am
@Adaline I'm pretty sure I could throw the mod together if you wanted to do the art!
J4R 18 Dec, 2018 @ 9:36am
Hello (again), can someone link me to the reddit post that @personzz is referring to? I'm trying to create something comparable but I'm having no luck finding the block code for the "invisible" blocks used (if I even understand the mechanic right, I've been scouring the bluepring files but had no success).

Any help is very welcome, and I'd thank the helping hand dearly as it would allow me to do a project I have had around my mind for YEARS now...
overwerk 18 Dec, 2018 @ 8:50am
well to be 100% honest, this bug is well known and keen will probably not bother fixing intentionaly. its basicaly a less usefull version of the phantom rotor since it disintegrate as soon as a block is placed or removed

heck it took keen 2 years to fix supergrid, a bug which could override sliders to any settings and was definitively in the realms of gamebreaking exploits
Adaline  [author] 18 Dec, 2018 @ 4:57am
@Cosmonaut -sorry boo, I make my own and photohop them on top of that. If some one here did skyboxes, I would happily work with them to make this one a real thing.
Cosmonaut 17 Dec, 2018 @ 7:10pm
Beautiful ship! What skybox are you using tho?
Adaline  [author] 17 Dec, 2018 @ 1:19pm
@delta wow- thank you, I’ve never thought of myself as a mistress, but I dig it.

@Centurian- thank you, I’ve often refer to myself as an artist and people give me a funny look.

@Personzzzz- any rating is a good rating as I say. I enjoy reedit. The people there are mostly friendly.

@LIGHTENING WING DRAGON- now that’s a name, I feel like I should’ve put dragon in my name.
LightningwingDragon 17 Dec, 2018 @ 8:29am
SPACE MAGIC IS AWSOME!
personzz 17 Dec, 2018 @ 7:48am
very nice ship and a very interesting and unique use of a bug, i read the reddit post and i think i've figured how it works, but anyway, very cool.
i've had my eye on some of your builds for a while now and this is absolutely great work. thumbsup from me.
Centurian128 17 Dec, 2018 @ 7:43am
You are an artist. I love this, can't wait to try it out.
DeltaCressida 17 Dec, 2018 @ 5:00am
wow this ship looked like it had so much class i felt like the most fanciest lad in the galaxy! another stellar work from the mistress herself!
Adaline  [author] 16 Dec, 2018 @ 8:49pm
Oh no no, the comic strip is the fine work of some one else. Some one sent it to me, and it felt accurate to put it here on this strange ship.
JelliBelli123 16 Dec, 2018 @ 8:32pm
DOOD! ITS SO NICE! Very hilarious! Scared my cat laughing!

The ship is pretty cool too :3
You draw the strip???
Adaline  [author] 16 Dec, 2018 @ 5:05pm
Keen might fix this bug so be aware.
J4R 16 Dec, 2018 @ 4:17pm
THANK YOU!!!!
You are the first one to tell me how this works!! Now all I gotta do is find an old block that's no longer supported (thinking about ladders), get the block ID and then add it between the sections!
J4R 16 Dec, 2018 @ 6:42am
Hello! Awesome creation! Is there any way one can learn this technique for building? Because I have some ideas I'd love to try out...
Korvatus Klok 16 Dec, 2018 @ 6:22am
How did you do that? Awesome video. Try doing voice over next time.
