Now that I'm typing this, I'm realizing that it's just another way of saying "It belongs in a museum!"
A) Vanilla or
B) use mods that are extremely popular and are amoung the most used, such as the Star Wars Weapons mod and the Azimuth Mega Mod Pack
and I really do get annoyed when people make ships with like 1000 mods and upload them as a blueprint, not a world :P
I havent had a chance to really go and check it out :P
Then you have the occasional ship that used dozens or hundreds of mods. Yeah.... No. XD
I bet the name Didact is a reference to Halo and the Forerunner's love of floating bits on their ships lol
I'm guessing a lot of people want vanilla versions for MP servers where they can't control the mods, so I wouldn't take it personally.
Going with a modded version, you could make blocks that hold the 'parts' together with some kind of particle beam texture or an actual pulsing/moving particle effect with some scripting help.
I'm on the other side of the fence with Vanilla vs Modded, I only used modded ships :D
Would be cool to see a decked out modded version not limited by vanilla constraints for us non purists.
Guess I'll have to look into other methods of doing that, maybe these modded blocks work? I'll try at least!
Any help is very welcome, and I'd thank the helping hand dearly as it would allow me to do a project I have had around my mind for YEARS now...
heck it took keen 2 years to fix supergrid, a bug which could override sliders to any settings and was definitively in the realms of gamebreaking exploits
@Centurian- thank you, I’ve often refer to myself as an artist and people give me a funny look.
@Personzzzz- any rating is a good rating as I say. I enjoy reedit. The people there are mostly friendly.
@LIGHTENING WING DRAGON- now that’s a name, I feel like I should’ve put dragon in my name.
i've had my eye on some of your builds for a while now and this is absolutely great work. thumbsup from me.
The ship is pretty cool too :3
You draw the strip???
You are the first one to tell me how this works!! Now all I gotta do is find an old block that's no longer supported (thinking about ladders), get the block ID and then add it between the sections!
