Yep, this one definitely feels like a cube respawn tutorial, haha!
@mentallentil
This might be the map of mine where the logic "flows" the best, if that makes sense. That might be why it's fairly easy to solve for experienced players such as you two ;) great job nonetheless!

As with Mattchew, it was a fairly easy solve for me too. I especially liked the uses of the floor portal and how forgiving those laser setups were. Forcing a cube to stay on a button certainly makes double rc maps less overwhelming, reminds me a bit of Blue Brains 1 by Libbybapa. Favourited :steamhappy:

This one actually didn't take me took long, about 12-15 mins? I really enjoyed the logic here! The cube respawns were clever and felt so satisfying. Realizing I had to respawn the red cube at the end made me really happy. Traversal was the highlight, I love the juggling move so much. Especially in the context that the map otherwise has regular movement. Faved!

@SpielSatzFail
Thank you very much for your kind words! It's crazy how you're speeding through my workshop by the way! xD
SpielSatzFail 29 Aug, 2023 @ 6:27pm
Great map! I enjoyed that very much. So many moves, lots of things to do but on a fair difficulty level. I liked the strafe thing and of course the sacrifices the most!
What an adventure :steamhappy: Thumbs up and a fav! :steamthumbsup:

Nice puzzle! All done as intended. I quite liked the surprising use of the floor under the red dropper.

@Spider_Dawg
It's indeed quite peculiar that this portal shot is possible, it's a big oversight on my part... Before the update of the map, it probably wasn't possible but the update happened 3 days after the release so most people have played the current version. So I guess some of them may have solved it the same way you did.
Anyway thanks for letting me know! It will be tricky to fix because the map files are on my previous computer, which I still have but I deleted most applications on it. I'll see what I can do.
Spider_Dawg 29 Dec, 2020 @ 12:32pm
Very cool puzzle, had me scratching my head for a bit. Not sure if the map has changed since the intended solution video was created, because it seems there were some unnecessary steps in the video solution due to this possible portal shot . I can't be the only one who saw it.

@bullfrog
Haha it's a good thing you found the easier way this time around! Also a good thing you got to play it with the functional overgrown theme it was designed for!
bullfrog 30 Sep, 2020 @ 11:04pm
I resolved this and thought: “well, that’s a very elegant puzzle, but it seems easier than I remember it!” I then watched the solution I used two years ago – my, did I overcomplicate things! Still a brilliant puzzle (and looks fab now) and even better if you do it the sensible way xD

Enjoyable chamber, the "fling" passage is very cool and also the swapping between cubes and player or cube standing on the button is intelligent. Well crafted puzzle.

A very good map, Lots of reuse from the elements. I was quite stuck on one of the moves until I worked out how to do it. Very clever. I manage to get the final move pretty quickly after that.
Leo  [author] 22 Mar, 2019 @ 1:39am
@Expat
Congrats on solving it in the end! I didn't see you previous comment, so no worries. As always, thanks a lot for the continued support!
Expat 21 Mar, 2019 @ 9:12pm
I deleted my previous comment, that was meant for another map. This one had me beating my head against a wall for a good half hour before the final move came to me. Should have been simple, as you'd been training me through the previous parts of the map, but apparently I'm a slow learner. Thanks for creating.
