@( * ) : yeah np man, honestly the xp system in kenshi is silly and honestly with enough time level 100 isnt even the cap, you can reach 101+ assassination (the quickest skill to level past 100)

I've been waiting for such a mod, to replay Kenshi.
When I created mine, I had hopes the devs would eventually use these variables...but it never happened.

After some digging for people to come here. Yes I know it's not nice to put someone elses mod on this guys mod page but this mod doesnt work and some people probably think it will.

I found a mod on nexus that does work by instead editing the entire formula for how xp works and instead of 'capping' the skills it makes the xp gain literally zero after a point. The test for if this mod works is using the cheat dummies to try and pass a level set in the config by the mod user and it just doesnt.

@ryopero It says that you need to go up lvl 104, because lvl 101, 102, 103 and 104 are "Weirdly long"

I used DUMMY to get it up to 101, but after that, no matter how many battles I fight, I don't get any experience. Why is this?

so stats cant go over 100 without cheating? can you boost to over 100 with bonuses? thats all im looking for

idk why but my characters with over 120 capped down back to 100 for some reason out of nowhere....

Disclaimer: This mod doesn't do anything. The only way to increase your stats above hundred is with this mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1628313635 ("Cheat Training Dummies") or through FCS, and after raising it above, the actual reason why you would install the mod, so that it caps your stats at 250 actually doesn't work. As you go further and higher away from 100 stats, the faster it increases, and doesn't stop at 250, it probably goes up to the integer limit, where it will probably reset to 1.
So do not use.

@TheThornyKnight You said you locked it to 100 with save edit. How did you do this? Is it work to lower the character stats and delete the mod?

@DeadBeard is dosn't cap it at 250, it sets diminishing returns higher but its old and is based off old version. I do not recommend using any longer. If you want to cheat, just edit your save file.

Just to confirm this as mentioned in comments before it, this does not cap your max skill at 250. You will go much further beyond that like a Super Saiyan 3.

This has created a monster scout of mine who can run upwards to 60 miles per hour and is getting faster, so I may actually have to edit my save file to cap her at 100.

I haven't tested to see if the cheat dummies alone can get you past 100 or if you need this mod. I'll test it to find out soon.

ok, i figured out the problem, i had to train up to 108, then I started noticing actual increments in my level, but now I am facing the problem where my levels are going past 250 I am not sure how effective this mod it considering that the max was supposed to be 250

for years i have played this game, and this mod has never worked for me. the moment i pass level 100 i use the cheat dummies to get me to level 104, but even at level 104 my experience gain completely stops. I have to use cheat dummies to gain levels no matter what I after level 100. I am not sure what I did wrong here

@Nirroir this is the better mod. some of the behaviors after you reach lvl 400 are strange. like if you reach past level 400 in toughness you only do 1 damage with martial arts. so 250 max is the better mod imo

perception is locked at 1 in the mod folder and stealth resets back to 100 by subtracting the amount i've gone over the 100 cap. Is there a possible fix to both issues?

you made a mod that makes the cap 250 but you link a separate mod you made that allows you to go above 250.... why even have this mod then? both mods let you go above 100 but one lets you go even above the cap this mod sets

So i still level up past 250 does the mod do something to stop this?

ShadowsFate : Thanks for your feedback. I keep it up, in case the devs decide to use the variables. I haven't modded for this game in years, so wouldn't be able to recreate it, if they decided to use these variables.

If your mod does not work like advertised, then delete it. This mod is absolutely doing nothing you have to use cheat engine to even increase any skills rapidly.

If I am correct - What you are saying is your character is still level 100 even though the variables in Kenshi aren't changing accordingly? Basically when I train and level up 1 level in Assassination or Katanas, I'm actually at level 100 then and there?

@pierrick combat speed is hard capped to 1.20 no matter what, for engine reasons.

the level goes past 100 alright but the effects seems to be locked at the lvl 100, like dexterity with 1.20 attack speed

Is it possible to use the same method you use to nerf the max stats? I want to make the max stats for stealth at around 70. Do you know how I would be able to do that?

My Beep got up to 600 athletics...also have that robot limb mod which has athletic increasing legs...so I now have a beep that can theoretically go over 200 mph

To be fair the game left active development in like late 2019 in favor of Kenshi 2, that being said It might be one of the other 200ish mods I use but after 121 My turret gunners can't man their posts

Anyways, thanks for the mod! You made it possible to go way past 100, had fun knocking out people with one hit and limbs flying all over the place, a fun sight to see. I'll be keeping the mod but will be uninstalling cheats training dummy just so my stats can go past 100 with the bonus of the equipment.

Is it me or the stats go way past beyond 250? Or is it because I have cheats training dummy mod installed? I just used the dummies to skip 5 levels from 100 to 105 on martial arts and before I knew It, I became Saitama in One Punch Man - Level was around 420+

Also it seems that some of the xp curves are more don't follow the bell curve shape. Like the robotics stat, it's seems pretty linear but maybe that just the way you earn co with that. Not sure if that's any help in changing the xp curves of the others.

Damn that's a shame. Maybe they just need reminding or something. Although I'm not sure how much they're working on kenshi with kenshi 2 in development. Cheers for the reply.

Doesn't that mean this mod and your other up to 500 mod does the same thing? So is there just no cap at all with this mod?

ÜbeR_RaskoF : I feel your pain friend. But unfortunately, there's no way to correct that, as far as I know. The devs have implemented a strange formula for leveling : it slows down the more you approach level 100, then strangely goes faster and faster. As long as we won't be able to mod this formula, we can just hope for the devs to update. :/

I have problem, idk why but my stats after 150 run sooo fast. And 250 stat lock is not working.My Dexterity was 200 and after a fight against 10 bandits it become 568.How can i lock my stats ?
