like to try it but have more than 600 mods
Thanks
to those asking for the character pool...
When I loaded the game after closing it the game would run well for 2-3 minutes geo or 1 turn combat. After that it would just close on me.
My solution is using Qicksave F5 and deleating all the files under C:\Users\COMPUTERNAME\Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen including folders except of the ...Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\SaveData Folder/Path and its content.
First download this
https://github.com/X2CommunityCore/xcom2-launcher
It will probobly say it cant find the mod path , so go to settings, and add manually , here is the mods paths :
Settings menu > Edit...
For me
Base Path = Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2
Mod Directories:
Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XComGame\Mods
Steam\steamapps\workshop\contnet\268500\
If folders dont exist because you have a fresh install, just subscribe to a mod and folders should be there.
Then use the new launcher to fix any conflicts. (Didnt check if it was okay with the 3 I found)
What helped me was sorting the entire modlist by size, and simply remove the biggest ones ( i kept in bio and stuff, I just removed all the texture packs etc, because i dont really care about that) once I removed a bunch of those and booted up it worked. Hope this helps someone.
