Alpha Animals CE Patch

Bit of confusion my end. Using Rimpy it is a little confused. It keeps saying to put it after CE, then pawnmorpher but then says to put alpha animals before it. Decided to give up on CE until now.

CE has been compatible with Alpha Animals out of the box for a few years now, making this mod obsolete.

Oh balls, I was looking for a mod like this but NOPE.
CuantummCrysis 11 Apr, 2021 @ 2:10am

Strategeryist 15 Nov, 2019 @ 2:07pm
A new alpha animals CE patch just came out (There should be a link in the alpha animals mod page). I recommend you unsubscribe from this one.
Sugar Show 12 Nov, 2019 @ 4:00pm
I believe best option isn't update CE so this still works
Nimrod 8 Nov, 2019 @ 10:10am
This awesome patch is now sadly completely out of date, since CE updated to 1.6.
Any chance to maybe join CE Fast Track with your work?
AllanWape 7 Nov, 2019 @ 1:16pm

Duck 22 Oct, 2019 @ 5:46am
Ive patched the leathers, the leathers should match CE leathers
Uncertainty 21 Oct, 2019 @ 4:09pm
Saebbi This with genetic rim combined don't work can you please patch it for CE
Almantuxas 14 Sep, 2019 @ 10:28am
can you patch the animal leathers? compared to other leathers and fabrics after ce patches them, the ones from AA become OP.
MisterIgor 3 Sep, 2019 @ 12:54pm
Hey, when the patch is coming? having multiple errors here
Temenat 23 Aug, 2019 @ 7:33am
Uhm, I think the new creatures aren't patched.
Cheol 27 Jul, 2019 @ 6:48am
Hi. First of all, thanks a lot for the work. But could you possibly bump up the armor penetration of groundrunner's melee attacks? I've trained like 15 of them after reading the description - "those close are usually reserved for ripping power armors apart along with their wearers" (YAY) just to find out their armor penetration is set to 0.32 (AWW)

Gallatross Horn seems to be missing from this patch.

"Trying to get stat MeleePenetration from AA_GallatrossHorn which has no support for Combat Extended."
Haineko 6 Jul, 2019 @ 11:08pm
New critters included in: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1794940350

Still requires this patch, I've only added the new things.
Almantuxas 21 Jun, 2019 @ 3:39am
it's something wrong with the modcheck check. removing it fixed it. why even have it in the first place, if i'm going to use the mod only when i have ce active?
Almantuxas 21 Jun, 2019 @ 3:16am
it seems like the patch fails for some reason.
Almantuxas 21 Jun, 2019 @ 3:11am
i'm getting the same error as herman925 is, yet it seems like the patches are done correctly.

@Saebbi I think there's something missing with Armor Penetration for Mantrap as it keeps calling for that in the log

@LemonMelon just did. Let me know if I forgot any.
Saebbi  [author] 23 Apr, 2019 @ 5:03pm
@ChinoPinto
Well, the difference is that without the patch they have no armor penetration (can't get through armor), don't use the bodytype system added by CE and the included range attacks won't work.
The changes should be noticeable, as the balance would be totally disrupted and if you'd activate devmode, you'd see a wall of errors everytime one of the animals added by this mod fight.

So in short, i would enable this patch, as it is NECESSARY in order to make this mod work with CE.
ChinoPinto 12 Apr, 2019 @ 10:27pm
I just realised that I had forgotten to activate this patch in my load order and have been using alpha animals with out this patch for the span of a 6 year colony. Honestly, i thought it was on the entire time as animals still seemed to be effected by combat extended mechanics mechanics. I might just leave it off, unless there is any particular changes that would alter encounters with
some of the animals such as raptor ships.
If anyone is able to get back to me about a few notable changes, it would be very appreciated.

alpha animals just had an update adding a few animals, ever gonna update the patch?
MatterofLight 8 Mar, 2019 @ 3:04pm
Thank you for the patches, this one made a big difference for me.

Hi Saebbi.
First of all, thanks for all your work with the CE patches. As someone who solely plays with CE and as someone who had to manually patch a bunch of mods before, I appreciate all the work you put in.

That said, Might I trouble you to do a patch for the Genetic Rim/Alpha animal compatibility patch?
Workshop page
It adds a couple of genetically modified alpha animals that needs to be made CE compatible.

Only if your schedule allows it. Thanks again for all the patches so far.

@Saebbi you have mod dependency "REQUIRED ITEMS" set to Combat Extended 0.18 in steam, so when you try to subscribe to this mod having Combat Extended 1.0 it says you don't have correct mod
Saebbi  [author] 28 Jan, 2019 @ 2:18am
Please take a look at the version number and my answer below and you'll solve your question.
Silver_Star 27 Jan, 2019 @ 8:25pm
Working for CE 1.0?
Saebbi  [author] 27 Jan, 2019 @ 1:30pm
@Cabre it did all the time ;)
@ChinoPinto sorry, but what do you want to say?
ChinoPinto 27 Jan, 2019 @ 12:25pm
LO?
Cabre 25 Jan, 2019 @ 3:56pm
¿Is this working now?
