Hey, would it be alright if I continue this mod?

I fixed the sprite not showing up issue on my own end, and I see that it's been a while since you've updated. This is a lovely mod that I don't want abandoned.

Those are some amazing ideas Lightning!

Especially the armor and invisible melee weapons, along with the elemental weapons and flight.

The flashlight may need to stay, or be equipped on the armor as a PPE attachment light.

Also, I had an idea for the back. I know in the concept for the game A New Beginning, it was planned to have you grab Ignitus's armor and lance, that could work for the back armor and the lance would give you an additional weapon. Whether you choose to make the lance into a missile launcher (giving you striking power from range) or keep it the way it is, is on you.

Either way this is looking like my favorite mod.

I thought of other ideas that could be added to this mod. The ship pet could be a dragonfly like sparx (again legend version cause it's simply my prefrence) for giggles, There could be craftable "weapons" that are basicly animations Spyro and Cynder just using their claws for slash attacks with the "weapon" being invisible or nonexistant. The same can work using guns for Elemental Breaths for them like Fire, Electricity, Ice, and Earth for Spyro. Poison, Fear, Darkness, and Shadow for Cynder. And finally Convexity for them both. A version of the in game Avian wings could be modded to let Spyro and Cynder glide or maybe even fly. The S.A.I.L. unit could also be made to look like the Chronicler! But would it be the origional Chronicler or Ignitus? Maybe the flashlight could be replaced with those Lanterns Spyro and Cynder carried for puzzles in Dawn of the Dragon.

I just relised you could also make armor like in Dawn of the Dragon!

DUDE this mod has automatic potential! please add more to this more like different horns and such making it possible to look like one of the guradians like Ignitus, Volteer, Terrador, or cyril, heck maybe even like Legend Spyro. I can't wait to see what this mod brings to the table.

I'd also like to see an Imp Midna character. That'd be cute.

Please read the full description: not all personalities work. You will need to cycle through them to get a working character model. I'm going to bugtest this myself to see if I can figure out a more concise way of helping others use this mod correctly.

If you want to mod it, just sub to it and find the zip files in your computer to do it yourself. Or you can find a freelancer to ask and send it to. Chucklefish forums are full of them.

It's a shame the author seems to have left the mod. I wanted to see it fleshed out, but it doesn't look like that'll happen.

I really like the idea of quadruped dragons in starbound! I've needed this for a long time!!
I'd love to be able to be more dragons than Spyro or Cynder. Perhaps I can help in making an actual customizable dragon species? I've made race mods before, three in fact! I know how stuff works, so if you'd like I can teach you. :D

missing his Dragonfly

Spyro is missing sprites, and that one on the image does not show in the game, the other kind called Cynder i don't know and never heard about

If the mod creator has no intention to work on this mod anymore, perhaps he might consider letting others do it.

The Draconics race does have a fire breath ability, but it sucks and is so weak that its not even worth it, unless your into RPing, Would be nice if Spyro actually had a fire breath ability that was good.

if you feel dont be scared to ask someone who knows trhe game and moding it to help you i think the draconics have a fire breath so maybe use that as a base for yours with due creid acorse

When you try putting spyro into a game that isn't a spyro game....

If they do I armor, I won't object. But I don't know if the mod creator plans on doing much of anything more with this mod. For those who are wondering, the Draconis mod comes with a fire breath tech that would work fine with Spyro. There is also a mod called the flight mod, which does exactly what it says. So you can use other mods to complete Spyro's abilities, even if this mod is never updated again.

Spyro and Cynder had armor in Dawn of the dragon (and hats in skylanders but they dont count).
So i'd say thats a good enough reason for why they should have some armor/clothes.

I don't see why Spyro needs custom armor or weapons, but fire breath anda glide mechanic woudl be nice. Some modded races already have stuff like that by way of a equippable tech.

Just one quick question-do you plan on releasing more items (e.g. racial armor, breath weapons, etc.) in the future? Or is it mostly finished as-is?

@adrianclifton I believe that's because of the different "personalities" that are selectable, just cycle through them on character creation until he appears normally. (I believe this should work, I mainly made him with an NPC creator so that's how I found the fix, I'd imagine it'd work in character creation too.)

This mod is cool. Spyro does not need custom guns or clothes. However, there is a bug that makes him invisible unless he is moving. Can you please fix at leas tthat. Thanks

They are invisible while standing still, I dont know if that's because I have other mods installed or why but just putting that out there. The animations are awesome though well done!
