I do not have any experience for Mac's OS. Had he specifically placed the .vpk in the game's "left4dead2/addons" folder?

My friend downloaded the file on his mac and when he goes to open the file it tells him to search the app store,but i was able to open it and had the addon installer install it perfectly,what does he do?

I've uploaded a replacement of the dropbox .vpk. Now fitted to enable players to join servers with the latest version.

We used the most recent file we could find after the map was privated, which was V26, we'll keep updating it as time goes by and as we get more up-to-date resources. The link will remain the same though.

Serious_Samurai did not create Helms Deep Reborn, he stole it.
I've met him (even had him on FL for a while) several times in-game, and he plays like a d*ck just as he mods like one.

Especially interesting is what comes at the 25 minute mark.

tldr; Serious_Samurai stole this mod, uploaded it as his own, and used it as a distribution platform for forcing changes onto people's Left4Dead2 installations (like removing singleplayer from the menu and a bunch of other laughably arrogant changes).

The version I’m providing is a fixed up version 26, there’s no other, more recent version we could find, and there’s no significant changes anyway, since most recent “updates” made to the map are unecessary or just screwing over players

I still have a copy of the addon files when I was checking the .vpk for it's malicious files. It was at about the time I posted the comment about the banlist here.
