I think the issue is because of the transition of the content to steampipe, which changed the locations of your games. Click "Edit Game Configurations" in the SDK and check to make sure that they're pointing to folders that actually have a gameinfo.txt file. For example, Half-Life 2 is probably now at *your steam folder*\steamapps\common\half-life 2\hl2. If changing that still doesn't work, try to make a new game configuration for Garry's Mod pointing to *your steam folder*\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod.

Also, my Source SCK doesn't let me enter the model viewer or Hammer, it just keeps telling me that the game configuration is incorrect, like it can't find the gameinfo.txt file. Do you know of any fixes? I've tried searching for one, and reinstalling doesn't seem to do anything.

https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Blender is a good place to start, though it may not give enough details on its own. I had to do a lot of searching for answers to specific problems I encountered as I went.

I also have noticed by the ratings that some of you aren't satisfied with the weapon. I know the model isn't very detailed and looks a little strange because it's too low-poly. I'm sorry about that, but I have very little experience with modeling or texturing. This was the first time I had used Blender in about 5 years. I'm not trying to make excuses, I'm just explaining why the weapon model isn't as good as a lot of the models on the Workshop.

So, how exactly does one use Blender to make models like this? I've been interested in modeling and animating my own SWeps (there's only so much on Gamebanana to work with).
