Neat puzzle! I definetely agree, this does prepare you for some more difficult puzzles as this does require some clever thinking.

I could jump into the funnel if I was on the LB, even though the LB wasn't that high off the ground (I just shot the portal on the top part of the panel, not the bottom). Is that intended? -Columbus (note: probably will not be notified of reply)

err was the answer supposed to be grab cube jump in pit walk past funnel throw cube up to open door then put one portal on the upper panel at the top left and another to get up there and jump across the big window to the exit.... i dont think it was...patch that?

Good little puzzle, despite the fact that I beat it in about four minutes.
