To elaborate further: the files this mod touches get very rarely changed by PDX so usually it's update-safe.
Also, is there a list of everything in this mod that generations faction attraction? What exactly is xenophobe echo chamber?
(... "Or did I even?" - you sound like the infinity machine :D)
Just to make sure, do you play on the beta or live?
XORs diplomacy mod update is working fine on the load screen, just not this one. Anyone else?
I feel thats a bit much for the author to make a compatability for as it would require all new attractions to each nee ethic.
- slight reevaluation of all the things that I had modified in the past versions of the mod plus the stuff I haven't uploaded in the past
-> some things were changed slightly, some things removed, some things added
I also updated my other mod and added a new addon for it, so check that out! Link is in the description.
Uh hate to say it, but this mod is not updated for current version of the game so of course there will be issues.
1) with the latest Stellaris update (2.6.3) pops finally seem to change ethics correctly meaning this mod will work better than before!
2) I'm currently back into Stellaris so expect an update of this mod very, very soon... (there are actually quite a few changes from the devs behind the scenes, so there really are some things I need to do) (also now that ethics shift works correctly I may need to rebalance some numbers)
Exciting times everyone, thanks for staying with me.
Pretty sure I didn't change that.
> Maybe the mod files are still active?
If you're unsubscribed then that's impossible. Unsubscribing literally deletes all the files from your PC. But you can manually check \Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\281990 for this mod ID which is 1598171087
In 2.6.* I managed to shift the United nations of man away from xenophillic to xenophobic.
Also don't forget that kind of the point of this mod is that ethic attraction would make more sense in general, so in your case doing militaristic things would increase the attraction for that and decrease attaraction for pacifism.
But some thing that's (sadly) also relevant is that by default the implementation from Paradox is... not perfect. Meaning that it's not possible to entirely fix something that's broken but only possible to workaround it a bit.
My mod and the ideas in it are based on the default system working correctly, when that's not the case my mod sadly doesn't really work.
The good news is, yes, I certainly want to update my mods including this one.
but... the bad news is that I don't know when I will get to it. I'm currently not playing Stellaris and I don't even have the new DLC (yet).
I'm really sorry, but I can't say a date right now. Maybe in a few weeks, maybe in the summer. Also depends a bit on some personal issues in my life right now and how much time they will take.
If you subscribe to the comments here (there should be a box to add a checkmark above) I will post here when it gets updated.
