With "Skuldos" having nordic type buildings, "Vasedro" with middle eastern and "Riallwood" as asian, what IF there was a "european" style of templates. An example of this would be germanic or tudor looking buildings.
Would it be possible for a european style template set to be made?
I have been following ACE's development, but my real life has swallowed up my gaming time so I don't currently have the 20 to 30 plus hours I would need to test-play updates to these templates. (I had the opposite lockdown experience to most people! :( )
I have not forgotten or given up though :) stay tuned!
After doing some testing, at least with the current build of ACE, it appears the reason why is because all the workshops have their own unique design based on your faction and these designs are basically just completely different objects. Also means that you'd need a template for each faction if you didn't want to faction lock a template.
Anyways, thank you for the response!
@RedPanda This pack specifically or the whole collection? This pack took me about a week to do as I had some time off around wimblemas. The T2 of this pack has taken me nearly a month because I haven't had as much time to myself. It's in the works currently.
@SpeedDemon Thank you! There is more coming but I can't say when as I have no idea :D
I have a couple of notes:
-the home stalls because my silly hearthlings can't figure out how to place the wide window - I think it's because there's not a gap in the wall for it
-could you pretty please with sprinkles on top include wall sections like the ones of the farms but modular (regular, corner, gate, etc)? ;)
-the geomancery could use a bit more room for the golem bench... but these things say basic so maybe there's an advanced in the works...? <3
@Cion thanks! I had a setback with the T2 but I am working on it now.
@Viridian Check the building status and look for "ghost" items on the walls. Some items with ACE have different recipies so they wont autocue or build.
@Jedwards RL was busier than I thought it would be this month but I'm hoping to put T2 up soon(tm)
I am having building issues with the inn though. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Thank you soo much for sharing them with us and i can't wait to get Tier 2 of Skuldos!
@Dunlap that is quite odd... the engine should let you furnish buildings after they've been built using the placement tool. If this isn't working properly, have you tried editing the template before you build it?
I know the city of which you speak... there's a lot of relief work which would be kind of a nightmare in Stonehearth.
I'm not saying outright 'no' but I wouldn't feel comfortable copying someone else's work. However if after I have finished with the Skuldos templates there is enough interest I could probably be convinced to make a "white stone and towers" kind of set :) Just with fewer holes and more texture work haha
(your probs gonna say no... :( but i thought i would ask)
(your template packs are a must have for any non modded race run i play)
Also the template shows some lamps inside of walls. I built the carpenter and all the flower boxes ended up in a block so they popped off the building when completed.
Thanks guys. Hope you're enjoying, let me know if you find any quirks.
