Trying it now with an updated ACE no medical, ravage and remnant. I'm a B_survivor_F and I hear sounds like its doing stuff but I don't see anything and I take zero damage from it. The screen effects work however.

Hello, could you help me with something I have in mind, all the credit will be yours. I would like to make a locust invasion, to make it difficult to see the troops momentarily (only a few minutes). I appreciate each of your works, they are really impressive.

Have you considered doing something similar but with piranha fish? Obviously it is an anomaly that only attacks when you get in the water.

Hey Alias.

Loving the script, but is there any way to set the swarm to only target specific sides/factions/units? What about units with or without specific gear (such as HAZMAT suits, etc)? If I wanted, say, evil scientist goons to be immune to these lil' buggers, how could I go about doing that?

My first thought was to modify the targeting system with a "if east then exit with null" style filter, but I just couldn't get it working. What are your thoughts?

is it possible to set it so a specific weapon can hurt the swarm?
For example KA weapons pack adds a flamethrower which would be cool

Another idea is to allow swimming to be a safe haven for player or AI. If player in a swimming animation, then swarm moves off to next easier target. I actually did that once to hide from yellow jackets (the bees, not the protestors!). No problem if you don't don't follow up on the suggestions, as your attention may have already moved on to your next masterpiece!

Could be the issue, the script is not made with ACE in mind, so anything similar with ACE damage system might not allow the script to work.
At some point in the future, when time will allow it, i will make my scripts ACE compatible

i found out: It only works in vanilla and some Mods. stalker or other Mods which uses health systhems wont work.

Make sure your character is within 1000 meters from anomaly. Do you use any mods?

Sound is not the problem. Seeing the insects and getting damage is. All folders are in the right place.

Another genius contribution. Thank you Alias! Love the depth of features (swarm temporarily going for blood pool, insecticide option, etc.). Suggestion: Consider weaponizing the swarm, so a player or AI can induce (or aggravate docile swarm) via a smoke/gas grenade. Player tosses gas grenade, and after a delay, swarm is attracted to the smoke grenade position, and then hunts nearby prey. Could make for interesting scenarios. May also want AI to react to swarm in various ways (panic running, panic firing, run to water or vehicle).

Hmm - have transposed this to a mission of my own and testing it in LAN. I can get sound. I can get vision. I can get swarm attacking (though it seems fixated on the actual Player) - but no damage, no blood. Nothing. All the files are present
