After 2 hrs of manually testing which mod out of my 60 mods was crashing at loading, it turned out to be this mod. Hopefully it gets an update, I realize it is years old lol but it is an incredible mod.

I've forked this for 3.7. This version still works, but my updated fork includes strategic resources and minor artifacts.

Personally I think energy as a resource makes sense that it costs to store, especially as it means it gives you an advantage in storage over the AI. A tax is a fair balance.

I could have sworn that banks generally pay YOU to store your money with them. Something about space makes corporations extra brutal. It probably doesn't have anything to do with a lack of proper government oversight on large corporations that operate almost entirely in space and have their own military, right?

I'd like to also bump Twiddlerat's thoughts about adding a stock market where you can take shares of megacorp nations or just random companies you guys would make up in the universe. Or even random AIs lol. Shares appreciate very little when they expand or win a war (calculated at the end of the year ofc) It would really shoot this up to become an important mod for anyone really wanting more from the game. There was a similar one in Fallout New Vegas, I would just suggest that share prices don't rise too sharply or else it makes Energy production redundant and boring if the shares give you a million energy in gains.

A great mod, my only wish would be for it to also work with the speed dial mod for easier contact. In several of my games I am depositing repeatedly because of how strong my economy has gotten and cannot spend it all at once.

This mod is great i love this and very nice idea!!!! but the mod does not work for me, unfortunately, the bank takes no taxes with me and there are no texts or symbols to be seen. No taxes are charged on loans and I cannot repay them. I can only carry out transactions without taxes. Please help me i need this great mod!!!!

Mod should work properly with 2.6, and also added an option to decide when the bank will be available from immediatly up to 100 years (50 years by default in multiplayer),

could you add a feature where criminal syndicates have an option to attempt a heist? of course their chance of succeeding would be very low since it's a galactic bank but it would be a nice feature

Hey guys, here is a little update to help with the fluidity of the Galaxy Bank Menu, it seems that somehow since the last updates, we can't use the exit button anymore when using the caravaners ui(brown), so I have changed it for the trader ui(green) which put back the exit button and make your travel in the menu way faster.

I will put it back to brown, when the devs decide to fix that problem.

Good to know thank you one thing I would like to ask if there is a way for you to fix the balance of the bank to flipping to a negative balance could you put a 2 million cap on the resources in there?

Also, even though it's really nice, could you maybe bind the "go back" options to the esc key? I find myself constantly clicking escape only to open my menue. :D

Yep it seems that I forgot to put the 50 years minimal delay before spawning the bank that I talked about some weeks before. should be fixed in the future

Regarding the account already having resources, look at it like the gift of opening the account. Many banks nowadays offer something like that.
Regarding the contact, I agree completely.

Getting the bank screen before finding another civilization(Thus not getting any first contact event) is really annoying and immersion breaking. Also, it doesn't make much sense, the empire bank account already having resources.

Otherwise the mod is ok.
