That was originally how the unit was designed, yes. It didn't play very well and wasn't as fun to use though so I made it more offensive, but now that the Retributers are a thing I'm considering reverting it.
@sander454
I wouldn't describe it as "Manga-ish", but it is more saturated than some icons. I'll debate with myself about changing it but at the moment its staying as is.
Great unit and mod but I was wondering if you could change unit icon by any chance? Comparing to other your mods, this one is very distinctive and it doesn't fit in my personal opinion to warhammer world. I was hoping for something more subtle rather than manga-ish;)
They should - I believe they are effected by the same effects as battle pilgrims and foot squires.

here! i using this mod.
I'm glad if you try and find a problem, but if you don't find one, I'm afraid it's my own problem. haha.
Thats weird, I did update the file recently so it may have bugged due to that. I'll take a look. Would you mind sending me a link to the 1.5x unit multiplier that you use?
I've used 1.5 times the unit size mod, and it's 40 people, not women, but men, and I don't have a voice. Is it normal?
yeah, the one in the V2 version is the one in the definitive edition (the ones with the more reasonable hammers), I kept the ones with the giant hammers for anyone that still preferred that version for what ever reason ^_^
I will admit the Hammer Squires are particularly funny looking; those hammers probably weigh as much as they do!
Thank you very much for the kindly worded response ^_^
And I fully agree on that front, It can be very overwhelming!
Personally I don't use other people's unit mods myself for that same reason and I worry my definitive edition has too many units.
On the topic of my definitive edition, I use most of my custom units and see the value in each of them, however the Knights of Crescentia and the Hammer Squires are somewhat less useful and so I might be updating those at some point soon.
Mostly yes, but I've applied the same logic to the custom units as CA has to the new additions (Royal Hypogryph knights and Foot Squires).
If you want the units to be 100% lore accurate look elsewhere, but I'd also recommend finding a mod that takes out the CA units too, especially the Foot Squires.
(note: In the case of the Knights of Crescentia, they are basically Grail Damsels (which are in the lore) with weapons/armour, and the name Crescentia was invented to describe the lake in Arden that Gilles le Breton met the Lady of the Lake. So their isn't much inventing going on really other than calling them Knights, which if it bothers you that's more than fair but I won't change it.)
I get plenty of suggestions and not enough time to make what I really want, but thanks for offering c:
i've been rolling around some thoughts while playing with the new trident..
Pleased to hear it! I am glad they worked out in your campaign c:
very nice looking and instrumental in the conquest of estalia. very well done!
Glad to hear, and thanks!!
Thank you so much!!! I'll get to that eventually, I'm currently in the planning stages of her unique units but not much further yet.
Thanks so much!
I have considered but I've got a lot on my plate at the moment. Hopefully I will get around to it.
Thanks again! ♥
@freeseed
Yes, all of my mods are built for the Coast Beta
I'm about to release a Foot Squire with Sword and Shield. If you want regular male dismounted knights I do not plan to make something like that any time soon as there are plenty of other mods that has those.
oh wow! This is a fantastic bit of knowledge. I'm really glad you took the time to share that with me!
I will definitely take a look at your mod, thanks for the permission and the help ^^
Glowing usually comes from the animations you give them in Land_Units_tables. Give the Vlad's sword animation for a glowing blue sword etc. To give them glowing Halbards you'll need to find an in-game unit who already has some kind of glowing Halbard effect, then put that as the units animation and then make sure to add in the culture to battle animations tables a link between that animation and your chosen faction cluture. Have a look at my Ancient Tomb Mummies mod with RFPM if you want an example of where I've added Vlad's animation to the unit .
