Hi all,

The mod needs to be reworked in that many of the mods it searches for with modCheck are now defunct, reposted, or namechanged;

It also needs to be updated to 1.1;

More feet and more mod support is always welcomed as well.

If anyone wants to take over the files of this mod, they are free to do so. It was not my creation in the first place; I merely updated Kiliface's mod and added assets to it.

Hi, it seems there is some problem with the Avali. Not sure if this mod is still being worked on or not, but for some reason the hands and feet don't show up.

Hey there. I spent the whole day trying to make a compatibility patch for the Yautjas (AvP mod). I ended up with almost functionnal animations but sill I get a recurrent error when they spawn :

Do you yave any plans to add support for the Asari, Forsaken, Android tiers, the xennohuman (4 races) and as well for the Yaujta from AvP mod?
I am asking this because of course I play with them :3

Yeah it seems to have broken somehow with the update to humanoid alien races, the author of that mod said that recompiling this mod might fix the issue. I posted on bugs discussion about it with a link to my original post with logs. Diamonddragon seems to be busy with school right now, so we just have to wait untill he/she has time to look into it or hope someone with the skills to do so picks up on updating the mod.

Yeah.. This mod refuses to work whatsoever. Facialstuff still works with humans, but all of the custom races I use aren't fitted with hands/feet. I've rechecked the load order, but to no avail. Hopefully this gets fixed or I get less retarded with mods. :P

@Drawer @trapbuilder2 Yep, sadly no special bodies. Does support special faces though. Andriod Tiers with this mod kind of breaks the game-- most of the Androids don't get hands and feet or any new parts at all, a lot of them refuse to animate, and in general it is a mess. I spoke with the mod author personally to try to fix it to no avail.

@Furfante Anything classified as an additional alien part in its .xmls, ears tails etc., bob. Doesn't work for things like the Xenn tails because the tail is drawn onto the body texture instead of an extra part. For orassans their ears and tails are indeed classified as extra parts so they do bob.

@Carlton Banks copy and paste one of the random alien's .xml files then replace the <modName>, defname= "Alien_whateveryoucopied", and <thingTarget> tags with the names of your race and mod. The other tags in there are pretty self explanatory. Make sure every place that says the old alien name is replaced with the new, using a ctrl-f Find and Replace.

It says that it is not compatible with android tiers in the description, does this mean it will break the game or just not draw faces for the androids?

@diamonddragon41 I had a typo in my last message (races instead faces), although I'm thinking on patching the yabils race, so definetely I would use that tag

Xenohuman had special bodies, for example, scalemen have some darker stripes in a similar way they have in their heads. However, if they are wearing something, you can't see it, so it doesn't really matter

Btw, for androids tiers do you replace the original bodies with "human" bodies?

@Drawer The previous versions indeed do not allow specific body textures, I don't think he ever implemented non-pawn body textures. If you want to patch the face to use a different base than a pawn base, put False between the [needsBlankHumanHead] tags.

Do the races have specific body textures? I think the previous versions (InsertKey and Killface) had that limitation but I'm not sure. Have you tried something similar? Patches for faces such as scalemen and wolfmen from xenohuman mod face that problem

Fantasy Goblin bodies are incorrect: male and females both have the stock male body and not their respective custom sprites.

@red3dred Wrong mod. Theres two gnoll mods and the supported one has only gnolls, unsure if that applies to the other gnoll mod as a result tho

So, i've got a weird question... Why is it that Gnolls are supported, but not Sergals? As far as i can tell they are one and the same mod, yet they aren't equally supported? I don't see why this would be the case, since i can't see any special reason, even the tail, which the Avali have, and are supported...

If you want to try first, I will give you the modified version of it. I took a lot of other races out so that I could run it without errors. Would love to find another way to stop the search for race mods that are not active.

@hauvega The line that causes the error is rotInt. The mod doesn't seem to actually use it when it's listed as 0, but when you export body animations it has a rotInt of 0 in the exported .xml file. I have removed it from all of the files in my latest patch which I have not released yet. If you have any additional tweaking to the Equiums you've done such as eyes etc, I'd love to roll your patch into my code. Pm me about it if interested.
