A long walk helps me Cool down clear my head as well take care of yourself Storm.
This maps really suits high-speed trains and aircraft and I'm happy that it's the kind of map where I can make use of all the aircraft mods I've downloaded .
I'm being completely selfish but for me, the only thing that needs changing is increasing the width of the rivers so that I can also use all the ship mods I've downloaded haha!
I would make one suggestion though: -
River transport is not particularly effective because ships are constantly weaving along the river instead of travelling in straight lines (meaning they are not going as fast as they could be). Considering how far they need to travel between towns, they rarely generate worthwhile profit.
I think the solution is to make the rivers slightly wider (they're deep enough already, maybe too deep in some areas) so that the ship pathing can find longer stretches of relatively straight travel (and hopefully allow the ships to reach maximum speed for a decent period of time).
What does it mean, and how do i fix it.
@lowell you said something about enabling extra-large map sizes. How do you enable that?

I've found that lately (with large maps, plenty of mods and many towns) I get to a certain population size and the game freezes - typically well before hitting the 1980s.
With this map I think I might be able to make it into the 2000s!
