Ah. I read the description and now I feel even worse for that one time I acted like a 6yr old while you were working...
Adaline  [author] 6 Jul, 2020 @ 10:00pm
@peter -sorry, even if I did have the coordinates, it would be wrong to post it here on the workshop itself. also the skybox was designed to have sun rotation off; looks a bit funky other wise. Cough cough, though it ruins the spirit of the challenge nothing is stopping you from say....loading the world in private, sun rotation off, entering spectator mode and flying to the light and finding that planet. : D
Aizen 5 Jul, 2020 @ 3:33pm
Are there coordinates for the planet? Sometimes we feel the need to play with sun rotation on. Feels cheaty if you build solar farms and the sun never moves, adds more challenge and makes you have to overcome.
Adaline  [author] 17 Mar, 2020 @ 9:20pm
@looter- I often play alone for the very same reason

@felys -thank you, I'm truly glad you enjoyed it.
Felys 26 Feb, 2020 @ 10:14am
Thak you for that trip ! It's a great adventure :) I enjoyed every moment !
Arachnade 13 Feb, 2020 @ 1:25pm
Its sad that space engineers is so prone to griefing that people generally have to mod the hell out of their game to leave it public or just play SP.
Adaline  [author] 6 May, 2019 @ 6:04pm
@bluestriker -no promises, but maybe, maybe
Blue 6 May, 2019 @ 6:08am
I would love to see another scenario with a similar system
Adaline  [author] 5 May, 2019 @ 5:26pm
@bluestriker -thank you for sharing, this made my day : D I'm really glad you enjoyed it.
Blue 5 May, 2019 @ 7:38am
I had a lot of fun with this scenario
good work
thumps up:steamhappy:
Blue 5 May, 2019 @ 7:31am
the ship ran out of hydrogen when I was attempting a landing on the planet but I had 6 parachutes so I landed save
I flew to the wreckage with my jetpack and crashed the little rover when I tried to drive it over a mountain to refuel my ship
Warden 28 Apr, 2019 @ 4:09pm
Creative solution to fixing what a jerk broke. Can't wait for me to forget to refuel my hydro thrusters and then get hurled into space
Adaline  [author] 4 Apr, 2019 @ 4:47pm
@kaiser -I've been having a rum and coke as I go through and read the comments you made and respond to some of them. You commented on each and every build I have. I'm surprised you read each discription. Thank you, thank you for taking the time to read and see my work so fully.
Indrasil 4 Apr, 2019 @ 3:13pm
Definitely gotta give it a shot! I love brutal hint-searching exploration scenarios any day of the week!
...but seriously, fuck that kid.
Adaline  [author] 31 Mar, 2019 @ 9:41am
@toke -It was very tricky and hard, and its the first time I made anything like this.

@Caelaran -good luck, let me know if the void swallows you.
toke.exhale 30 Mar, 2019 @ 10:54pm
I'm excited to try this out! Looks like you put a lot of work into this. Thanks for sharing!
Caelaran 30 Mar, 2019 @ 12:53pm
Time to give this a go as well, here's hoping for survival! :)
Adaline  [author] 11 Mar, 2019 @ 1:21am
@mad max -good luck
The Moss Man 10 Mar, 2019 @ 11:20pm
Now this sounds like something I'd be genuinely interested in
Adaline  [author] 9 Mar, 2019 @ 7:04pm
@grinder -it was big deal a while ago, even got spotlighted. Not my fault the you didn't follow me. : P
Mike Sexhaver 9 Mar, 2019 @ 5:40pm
a map dedicated to searching every corner and crack, why ddint i know about this sooner
Gary 6 Mar, 2019 @ 12:50am
might try again and see how i go
Adaline  [author] 5 Mar, 2019 @ 1:18am
@skymungar- no one is stupid, for some people its easy and for others it is hard. : ) I hope you enjoyed it a bit.
Gary 5 Mar, 2019 @ 1:14am
took about ten minutes
Gary 5 Mar, 2019 @ 1:14am
wow i am stupid
ima say my playthrough then. so i spawned in and i went outside and hated it XD i grabbed a couple of solar panels, chucked them on the little bit you spawn on, grabed a gyro and a couple thrusters, put them on and then just flew off. the end XD
Adaline  [author] 5 Mar, 2019 @ 12:54am
@skymungar -there is an actual planet directly towards the source of light
Gary 5 Mar, 2019 @ 12:26am
is there actually a planet? or did i end early? XD
Adaline  [author] 24 Feb, 2019 @ 7:13pm
@hoochfox -I love your gamer tag by the way, I wish my gamer tag was boozehound. : ) by all means send me friend request and a pm sharing your knowledge.
Hoochfox 23 Feb, 2019 @ 11:55pm
I'd really meant it more in the spirit of helping you develop your skills, but okay.
Adaline  [author] 23 Feb, 2019 @ 11:36am
@hoochfox – First off, Thank you! The compliments really keep me going. I have likely heard all the criticism there is and most of it certainly valid. But this project took allot out of me and I don’t want to put even more work into it. Everyone is welcome to change and improve their own play through.
Hoochfox 17 Feb, 2019 @ 4:09pm
Great atmosphere and scenario. Would you be interested in hearing any spoiler-free critique, or should I just sod off?
Adaline  [author] 27 Jan, 2019 @ 12:31am
@destoryer -well done resource conservation is the key to success.

@gau- Congrats, I’m simply amazed with the mods and improvements people made to their experience with this. I love it.
Gau Eight 26 Jan, 2019 @ 9:35am
Thank you, Adeline, for a beautiful and intriguing world. I just "landed" (heh heh) on the moon and now look forward to some land survival (I added a food/water mod for increased challenge) and exploration. Well done!
Destroyer_V0 26 Jan, 2019 @ 3:44am
Also as a side note to anyone wishing to try this map. Be aware that so long as you have fuel and your hydrogen thrusters lit, they will burn through your precious fuel supply. Make an action group with all hydrogen thrusters you plan on sticking on your craft, and turn them off before finishing construction of said thrusters for best effect.
Destroyer_V0 26 Jan, 2019 @ 3:41am
Not that I had any hydrogen fuel left by the time I made impact.
Destroyer_V0 26 Jan, 2019 @ 3:40am
I "Finished" the map not too long ago, ending up crashing my cobbled together life suport module with engines, within eyesight of the other crash site, on the ridge around the lake in which the large flying wing crashed. While I may have destroyed all of my hydrogen tanks, jump drive, and damaged some non critical systems... the assembler, refinery,, batteries, some solar pannels, oxygen and hydrogen generator and the rover I recovered from space were all intact... might be an interesting survival save to go off of from there. Yet to find the campsite, it's merely a matter of time
Adaline  [author] 8 Jan, 2019 @ 11:11pm
@Marek Rosa -Hi! I have nothing but respect and admiration for you. I dream of working for a game developer like yours, either as a content creator or concept artist. Thank you for this amazing game.
Marek Rosa  [developer] 8 Jan, 2019 @ 9:35am
This is interesting...
Adaline  [author] 7 Jan, 2019 @ 5:28pm
@ocelot - big projects can be sery draining, my next release is wonderfully easy going.
Despicable Ocelot 7 Jan, 2019 @ 5:18pm
I forgot to mention that I'm watching SGA, it is good.
Despicable Ocelot 7 Jan, 2019 @ 5:16pm
You didn't skimp on darkness, and that station looks cool in that light. I wish I had the patience to make some big, long-term projects. :cozyspaceengineersc:
Adaline  [author] 5 Jan, 2019 @ 5:54pm
@havoc sure thing, send me a pm and I can send you the original thumbnails in the best resolution. Go easy on me though, this is the first time I've made a map like this ever.
HavocLP 5 Jan, 2019 @ 4:14pm
Hello Adaline, I was wanting to know if it was OK to use your Black Reach art for my thumbnail on YouTube. I want to do a series on my channel on this mod as it looks awesome and totaly looking forward to a new experience within S.E.
SpaaaaaaceMouse 3 Jan, 2019 @ 9:02pm
"Long ago I started building a space port. I had open games back then, people could visit me while I built. An unnamed 12 year old came in and destroyed my unsaved work." I don't play on many servers for this reason. I played on one a few years ago that was mostly co-op. Server backups are of great advantage.
Adaline  [author] 3 Jan, 2019 @ 3:08pm
@oolam -gasps, an on topic comment, I'de like to think the map is interesting and at least captures the dark and cold void.
oniris 3 Jan, 2019 @ 11:30am
look like an interesting map
Adaline  [author] 2 Jan, 2019 @ 7:29pm
yeah the sci-fi channel is in a wierd place, back in my day it as just the outer limits on repeat
SpaaaaaaceMouse 2 Jan, 2019 @ 7:11pm
8D SGU could of been better if they hadn't done the whole 'dark and moody' thing Aaaaaallllllllllllllll Sci-Fi apparently has to be now.
Adaline  [author] 2 Jan, 2019 @ 6:57pm
@spacemouse -don't ever mention SGU to me. I'll just plug my ears and pretend it doesn't exist
