If the pick were like 6 pounds this would be most realistic, being as that would make your tools add up to the original ten pounds per, and a 6lb pick is one of the smaller ones you use in rl, makes sense you could carry one of them tied to your pack next to the 4lb ax...... Nonetheless, Thank you very much for this!!!!

More realistic than the 1 weight pickaxes and axes. How realistic is a 1 pound axe or a 1 pound pickaxe? They aren't but 4 pounds is fairly realistic for an axe. A pickaxe I would say would weight closer to 5.5 or 6 pounsd

ah also add to description whether this mod affects dlc tools (i can only recall dragonborn's special pickaxe)

Besides, I only downloaded the mod to reduce the weight of the pickaxe-I use a mod that allows me to SMELT the ore out with the Flames spell-I was just tired of all the extra weight

I think that was the problem Van, I DID have another mod like this one but it wasn't being used-I do find it strange that the screenshots show a weight of 4 when I was showing (and strangely still AM) a weight of 1

If anyone is having trouble with this mod working cause of other weight mods, try the tool conjuring spells mod.
I don't mean to unsult your mod or anything, just an option.

Ah ok Van, and I just remembered I use Powerfang's 0 Weight Ingredients and Quest Items. Strangely enough, even though I removed the mod, the weight is STILL at 1!

@Born SirRottet / SirVanzeek always mod together - hence the similarity in the names - Rottet does the construction and I handle decor/concepts. We both heavily test everything along with LadyLarren. We cant figure it out but so far you are the only one of nearly 1200 subbers having that problem. I would suggest unsubbing as its clearly not an issue we can fix and related to your specific setup.

Um, you are not the creator of the mod Vanzeek-and I did not HAVE any other mods like that. And it was about 30 seconds-ONLY with the pickaxe, not the woodcutter's axe. Idk what it was, but it didn't happen before I installed this mod

the nordic pickaxe is vanilla, with dawnguard use. Unless by "vanilla" you mean "no DLC or mods"

For all users - only 4 changes were made to the vanilla for the file - and none of them changed anything except value. If you are having ANY problem with this MOD I guarantee it is a conflict with a different mod that also alters values - this one ONLY affects the weight values of the axe and pickaxe.
@ Born - 3 of us at this location and several more with different modsets tried to duplicate your game lock - no luck - is it a long lock or just a blip?

This version only covers vanilla tools.

@nightcloud - Ok well for starters 'kilof' is Polish for 'Pickaxe' so im guessing you might have a mod that translates to Polish interfering with item names or something. Zineka strawla I have no idea but my guess is multiple translation mods have made up a new language. Best bet is check your Nexus and Steam mods for another translator you may have forgotten about - or you may have a corrupted file - can run a Steam game file check and make sure.

dude there is alodgical eror eith some names like the pickaxe is called kilof zineka strawla etc. it is not because of this if u know how to fix it tell me

The Creation Kit crashed when I tried to load it with Polish. If I can figure out how to do it I will.
