fun idea. Instead of having the fling as an end state, you could reuse the gel runway by placing a ramp, which launches the player into the funnel, then when the player goes through the portal, they can respawn the cube and use the funnel to push it up onto a button . Enjoyed the map!

Sorry on the "Speed Up / Slow Down" time command, you have to leave sv_cheats set to 1 until you have finished (didn't realise until I tested), so take off the "sv_cheats 0" on the end of that one

I've just changed mine to this:

bind "2" "sv_cheats 1;noclip;god;sv_cheats 0"

This will turn cheats on, enable noclip and god (so you don't die while flying around) and then disable cheats. To turn it off, just press the key again. You can switch the key you want it on by changing the character in quotes after the word bind

To Speed Up / Slow Down Time:

bind "8" "sv_cheats 1;host_timescale x.x;sv_cheats 0"

where "x.x" above is a numerical value. i.e. 1 = real time, 0.5 = half speed 2.0 = double speed (you get the idea). Again you can switch the key you want it on by changing the character in quotes after the word bind

I'm wondering, how do you make the instant turning on cheats & using noclip work like you did in the video? I've started noticing other Portal 2 players using a similar version where it speeds up the walking, and I wouldn't mind having that (or the insta-noclip) myself when solving maps with a lot of walking. Is it some sort of mod? Or do you set it up in the developer console before you start playing any maps?

This is definitely a good monoportal puzzle. Better than most. Only one BEEMOD object used, and that's OK. Not many people require coating the cube in orange gel, if not any gel, to get through a test. Why do so many people do mundane things in their submissions?

Haha thanks. Now here's a weird thing. When I commented on your map I thought you were someone else and thereby said it was your best puzzle so far. I don't know how you got into my followed authors list, but I'm glad it did as it is a great puzzle. Lemme try your other maps and see what they're like :)
