I don't really know how to help you. I doubt very much that it is the map itself because so many other players have used it without issues. I would try the map again myself, but I'm not playing at the moment. Probably not till I get CS2, which will be soon.

Been away from the game. I made the map using Terrain Party, so it's an exact replica of the real area.

Spawn roads? Do you mean there are no roads when you load up the map? Do you have Network Ext 2?

I don't think it requires any DLC.

Does this map need DLC? If necessary, can you introduce a map without DLC?

Yeah the area to the west is really interesting. I had thought about creating a specific Charlotte Airport map. The Catawba River is also really interesting. Not sure when I will ever get the time to create that map though? I'm in the middle of a Yokohama map, which is a very long project and then I'm going on holiday for a month very soon, so everything keeps getting pushed forward,

I can see the similarities. The Shanghai Tower would be overly tall. The other one looks pretty good.

Thanks. I only make maps and build cities. I've never made an asset yet, but the Workshop really needs a few iconic Charlotte buildings for sure.

I agree. The Charlotte skyline is very good. Also, yes almost no Charlotte assets in the Workshop, which is a shame.

I'm glad you are enjoying the map. It was quite a big road project. I'd love to see how you progress with the city build.

Sorry i took a while to reply. I think it would be best to look in the existing U.S collections. Many U.S cities have similar building types and i would just make it as close as you can with the existing Workshop stock. I did find a Melbourne skyscraper asset which was a close match for the Duke Energy Building.

I would appreciate if you could find/create a collection of buildings in downtown Charlotte. I really want to recreate Charlotte using this map and I have searched the whole workshop and couldn't find a single building in downtown Charlotte I could use.Hopefully you can create one! If you do I would greatly appreciate it!

Maps take a long time to make, so i have to think carefully about what area i want to build. I've certainly looked at Raleigh. Right now i am building a new map based on San Rafael. Ca.

To be honest, i made it for as little mods as possible. You could try uploading it without them, but you would hardly see any trees and i am not sure about some of the roads. I don't have the time to make another version. I'm not sure when i will be making my next map?

Thanks. A friend who lives in Charlotte was keen for this map, so i started creating it. It was a tough project actually and took about 200 hours to complete.

Surprisingly close! I didn't expect to see anything local on the workshop page, much less a local map this nice - very, very well done!

Did you use a mod to place the roads for yourself?

Strange to finally see a city I know so well, in this game. I can personally say this is pretty damn accurate. Good job!

Thanks a lot. So i assume that the map loaded for you ok? A couple of people have had some issues with it loading properly. I am not sure that the issue is Network 2, because i use that mod and my game works fine. I wondered if i should add Unlimited Trees to the required items list? There are 350K trees on this map.

As one who lives west of Charlotte NC..and works and drives in Charlotte a lot, you are fairly close. Good job.
