How does the pickling and curing vat work? I've made a bit of unpickled food and cooked cure, do I just need to wait for them to finish pickling and cooking or something? I can't set any bills on them, so for now I'm assuming they work like a rack or something and I just need to wait.

Any way to remove chaos storms completely? I tried when I created a scenario to remove weather threats but these storms still occur :(

@Latex Santa You forgot the /s on your comment man lol. Fun fact Games Workshop hasnt changed their rules on any of this stuff at all. They just renewed them.

Also I really do hope your being sarcastic as arch is one of the worst people in the entire world to get any news from at all, the man was banned from pretty much every group due to his blantly terrible ideals and friends.

@SickBoyWi Games Workshop has gone insane, and will soon start to hit modders with copyright claims, DESPITE FAIR USE LAWS. I heard it on Arch's youtube channel. People! Save the files on your hard drives! Modders! Back up your work! We must be ready for the worst.

When I try to put the Cooked Cure into the Curing Pot using the right-click drop down (I think that's allow tool). Sometimes I only get 'clean room' then when they go to bed... I can suddenly do 'fill the pot'.

No error that I can find. And the first one in a new settlement always fills. I'm playing empire.

Just wondering if I'm missing something like - you have to wait 24 hours before putting the cooked cure into the pot or something.

@SickBoyWi - Clever mod, I'm liking it so far.

@Filthy Archer - have you tried dnGREP - I use it to hunt down those kinds of errors.. that and Reddit. You can use it to sift through all of the mod folders for entries that match key words from the error log.

Once you get good with it, you can use it to search all of your downloaded mods for a term like "MicroelectronicsBasics" and it will tell you which mods in which folders have that term. It really helps me narrow things down in a few minutes.

@Aledroid - There's something in some mod that's referencing either that tech directly, or something that requires that tech to make it. If you can post a HugsLib log on Discord, you'll get help right away, much quicker than here.

I get this error, that keeps popping up every second, so I cannot really ignore it:

Failed to find Verse.ResearchProjectDef named MicroelectronicsBasics. There are 139 defs of this type loaded.

It dones't happend with the gun version. I use many other mod, but they are all medieval themed.

@Butt Stallion - You could also get the Any One Can Dwarf mod that I made, which will open up all dawi stuff to any pawn.

@Butt Stalion - The dwarven research bench can be made from any material. You must have only had granite available in a stockpile. Perhaps you deconstructed some granite walls? Once you have a dwarf in your colony, you can build the dwarf research bench, and any researcher should be able to use it.

This is literally one of the least user friendly mods I've ever used on any game. Only dwarves can use the dwarven research bench... ok restart playthrough. Starts new save as dwarfs but comes to find out that you can ONLY build it with granite. And I'm on a map with only limestone, marble and sandstone... yeah bud great design. 4/10 for the effort

@SuperTit91 - That's the way the scenario is set up. You should be able to create your own scenario though, and add whatever kind of pawns you want to it. I just released the update. It's for 1.1 though, this is the 1.0 version of the mod. 1.1 version was uploaded as a new mod in order to insulate people with ongoing games from breaking saves.

Hey, love the mod but i cant start with dwarf slayers unless i started on naked brutality? cant even select dwarf slayer haircuts even with prepare carefully. Is this intentional? Also was watching your youtube play throughs, any idea on when the next update is gonna be?

@hrodrik - This one has unique quests. A jabber lair nearby, and a small chaos portal near by. No new map incidents.

@GGEELL - You can, but this affects world gen, and adds factions. If you don't have it at the beginning you'll only be getting the research items, and additional buildings that it adds.

@chase12324 - Make sure you're using the 1.1 version, not this one, if you're using the latest version of the game. A lot of stuff has started to work funny in 1.0, since various mods have updated, and may or may not have done so in way that makes backward compatibility fully possible.

@The Don - There are a few other mods required by these mods. Magic, Beastmen, and Dwarfs require HugsLib, JecsTools, DoorsExpanded, AlienRaces, and maybe another one or so. The required mods are listed in each mods requirements on the mod page here on Steam. Could that be your issue?

I'm at a lose... I only have the RimHammer mods (Magic, Beastmen, Dwarfs) installed. Rimhammer is right beneath Core, followed by the "Expansions".
The game set to V1.0 and yet it seems to fail to load all the items (Shields Khorne Axe and more) Is there something I might have missed?

@matarayce - What @Stormtrooper Rudy said. It's done, just a different mod. Some of the Discord folks were griping about mod updates breaking their 1.0 ongoing games. I decided to isolate players from that.

@Gearhammer - That would depend upon what they set the techlevel on those guns to in the XML config. I haven't dug into them, so I'm not sure. You could always edit it yourself in your local copy of the mod; just scan all the config files for TechLevel and set the values for things you want to Medieval. Then you could control what you get. Although if the mods take an update you'll have to repeat the process of making your changes.

What about Vanilla Weapons Expanded? Because in this mod is Flintlock musket and pistol and does these weapons can be spawn in your mod?

@Rincewind - Noted. I will make a note going forward to set all textures to powers of two. I'll also put a note in to fix existing textures next time I'm doing updates to the mods. Thx for the comment, and the tip!

Nice work, there only one issue for me. Some textures have non-power-of-2 sizes, like 300x300, 150x150. That cause graphic bug like weird line on top of texture. Reducing size to 256x256, 128x128 solves this problem.

@Caiden This mod removes everything in the game after the medieval era. If you want dwarfs with gun turrets, go get the Rimhammer The End Times WITH GUNS mod.

Added ability to administer healing potion to downed pawn. Altered config so that trade caravans will carry healing potions and wands of resurrection.
