the stunstick sounds are one of the most unsatisfying, horrid and weak weapon sounds i've ever heard. But this is still a good mod.

Also i fixed the defaultdeployspeed issue. Just type the same command to autoexec.cfg and it'll be permanent on every session.

Can't say for sure, no idea if that gets reset on every session or not. I wouldnt be surprised if there is an addon that probably makes it keep a permanent value.

This was made back in 2018 when MMod released, I have not and will not make it use newer animations if there are any.

I tried to deactivate them in any way but I didn't achieve anything and I even changed the mod files. I installed more addons to modify the muzzleflash and see if it can be changed but I didn't achieve anything. I changed several parameters of the mmod addon where the addons installed are. the game folder and achieve nothing

The particles here are compiled into the weapon models, thus can't be turned off. I haven't kept touch with GMod for quite some time now, so I am unsure if it would be possible to check when the stock HL2 weapons are being fired, in code. I might revisit it one day and see what I can do, but probably not anytime soon, if at all.

It is strange that the muzzleflash of weapons cannot be deactivated since they are intense particles that affect performance too much, even the mod itself for the game Half Life 2 itself has its configuration to deactivate the muzzleflash, I have it and I always have it deactivated

well the good news is you're right, it fixed when i restarted the game, but i still have the sounds from the mod. shouldnt be a problem right?

Restarting the game should fix that, if not, try finding (somehow) if there are leftover files downloaded from the workshop, and delete those. You will have to look up a guide tho, can't tell you the path where things are stored anymore

At the moment there is not a way to disable them, as they are defined in the weapon models.

It seems that the flash muzzle does not have optimization because when I shoot with any weapon the flash muzzle reduces the FPS quite a bit and it doesn't work well. Is there an addon or any configuration to remove it? or lower the graphics? of the muzzle flashes??
