but i thought the level felt a bit cramped, or that's just me since i played in hard mode and it gives you an upside down view.
Also, it's more difficult with the playstyle I choose. I prefer to move as fast as possible, while it's easier to stay backed up in the hall.
My main criticism of this level is that the level design is cramped. While there is nothing wrong with that, hallways provide no room for movement counter play, which dumbs down combat to shooting down a sightline at off-screens and idles. Perhaps the hallways could be a bit wider while scaling down on using larger decorative objects. Otherwise a great level, hope my comment helps. I hope to see how your craft improves in later works!
For this level, you could either remove any shotguns and shotgun enemies from the first floor, or change enemy placements on the second (or perhaps place a preferable weapon at the entrance).
Just a suggestion, albeit not a very helpful one. I'm excited to see what you make next.
