well i removed all mods but taurikin and your ship mod, and it doesnt seem to wanna work still. im not sure whats wrong D:

I've just installed FU and with an existing or new char I am not finding any problems :S

i went threw my mods and tried to find it, could it maybe be FU? it got a patch recently ; o ;

I've just tested it, and that doesn't seem to be the issue.

i added pants up for taurikin, would that do it?

this mod was working a few days ago but when i go to make a new taurikin for some reason it doesnt want to work anymore, i dont understand what happened for it not to work anymore D:

I ended up getting BYOS to work instead. I will say I've had that and frackin universe both installed from the start. I can back my game up and check but it'll take some time.

Hmmm google isn't helping me. Do you have this issue when you only have this and taurikin installed? Maybe I've a mod conflict goin on.

I did notice an error reading "No such key 'taurikin' in pathApply("/speciesShips/taurikin/0")" I think it might have something to do with it.

I haven't been able to replicate the issue. Can you give me a copy of your log? It's in your starbound folder. Normally I'd just ask for the one with no numbers (as its the newest one), however seeing as though you've tried many different things I'd like to have a gander at your older logs (the numbered 1-5). You can use pastebin.com or any file sharing site.

So, I've tried just about everything I can think of to get this to work. Starting new characters, deleting my .ship file, installing it off of Nexus, deleting all my characters and starting over entirely, and still nothing. Nothing I have done has had an impact in regards to changing the ship, it's ALWAYS the same island as before. Any idea why?

If I have a mod that replaces the human ship with another ship, will this put the taurikin in what the human's replaced ship is? Or will it still be the normal human ship?

Another strange Thing Is a Friend of mine also Played as a Taurikin but they had The Human Ship we have The Same Mods So it works But My ship Didn't Change.

I'm using the Full Fur Version and Even after Upgrading my Ship its Still the Normal Taurikin Ship, Is It Not Supported or am I doing something wrong?

Ok thanks but also i forgot to mention something about the normal taurikin and that is the crouch animation. The crouching animation was cute when i first saw the mod and i think i should keep the normal taurikin mod for a while. But another thing about the taurikin is the pants up mod on the 4th pic and a taurikin with the pilot goggles looks nice so yeah.

Go bi ped so you can wear vanilla clothes :P

Well you see here for me some of the clothing for the Taurikin and the Biped Taurikin is kinda a stretch. Like for example the starter clothing like the hoodie and the pants for them. the look good both on biped and normal but is a stretch same goes with the 3th set of starter cloths. now tier 2 & 3 looks good again on normal and biped but is a stretch. Same (again) goes for tier 5 in the midle one. And lastly tier 6 with the scientist looking set and the grand protector robe. So i want you to chose for me which one i should have Nomal or Biped

also quick question which Taurikin do you recommend because idk which one i should have.
A. The 4 legs Taurikin (which is the normal Taurikin ofcorse) or B. The 2 legs Taurikin.

but when i have this mod and got to the ship it didnt crash and i just got the normal taurikin ship and yes same happens if i skip intro mission. normal taurikin ship. but when i got to the ship with this mod which was now i tried it crashed

ok this is weird.
so when i get to the ship (this is without the mod) i crash and is like the egg dog race when i get to the ship it crashes as it takes off but i unsubbed from that mod i think a couple weeks ago idk. but if i skip the intro mission it doesnt crash and i have the normal Taurikin ship

I'm wondering if there is some kind of conflict goin on. I've just tested this mod and it works for me.

Sadly this doesn't seem to be working. Created an entirely new character and I'm still on a hunk of dirt.

I should specify you need to upgrade your ship for existing characters

Hmm well none of the mods I've made for Taurikin affect the locker you get those clothes.

It most certainly does not do that :P

You get the human proc outfit in the tutorial area with or without this mod.

yup the protectorate outfit in the tutorial area is still human shaped
so i guess this mod somehow overwrites which version of the outfit gets put into there

Does it still happen when you are not using this mod?

hmmm, I think I have an idea, I like playing from the tutorial for a few items, it could be that the uniform you get is getting overwritten or something by the human one. havent really played passed that point. as for the log, ill try to find it if you still need it

And a quick test has it working for me, so I'm really baffled. I'ma need to see that log :P if you are still having issues.
