I'm not TF2 player x) I just want wizard hat and cape (meybe red for me?) ^_^ .. one way you could do WASD movment and Arrow movment -> copy player one and chance controls -> make spet that ask "Do you want to play WASD or Arrow keys?" and witch one they hit the player one is selected ;) and you can use that for 2 player co-op ....

What I would like to see. Randomally generated areas with some rules (it may be hard). Any enemy and weapon/s (sword axe spear bow whip sling dagger staff or hand). Can you make "fall" like hole wheres water and/or just a pit? with some animation (meybe both with different animations?). Last, hats. Every one liks hats? ^_^

Hmm, I'm mainly a WASD user aswell, so i would probably go with that, but i like Jake's idea on having Local co-op with one user using one set and another user using the second ^-^

Anyone want to give me a general layout of what keys they like to use most? WSAD, E, Q, F

Skrtinn, I saw you said its all code no D&D, From what I have done I've learned its faster and easier to do a half D&D and Half Code mix, easy stuff is D&D and More complicated stuff is code. I also have an idea/suggestion instead of clicking on the box you should have to hit a key to Interact with it when your close enough.

Aha, Thank you all for the suggestions and comments, I'm being a little bit busy being back at school and such (although i am now in an ICT class working on game maker usage so, fingers crossed! ) so I may not update as frequently as i have been, im working on enemies and combat next, so stay tuned! :)

This seems like it would be a good RPG. (I have no experience in programming, so this shouldn't change your mind.) It's a good start! I believe automatic door entry would be something to implement. As mentioned above, an RPG would be a good idea. Just add a combat button and your flying! Good luck!

Oh (read your suggestion wrong) No, the game is completely made from code no drag and drop features used. :)

P.S: its spam protection, i've been updating the game to frequently, i have to wait a bit until i can update, sorry!

by the way I think the characters moving speed is a bit too fast, How about you lower the subimage speed, for a more fluid and realistic movement. Love your idea too, game could be great

Aha, Thanks, here seems to be a problem where the game isnt updating what ive added (steam itself, it wont let me update my game) i believe i've found a fix which im working on now, and yeah that practically is all you can do for now, im updating tomorrow (hopefully) with an enemy and most likely a battle system aswell as room transitioning so you can go inside a tent i placed. over vision for the game you ask? Hmm... lets see... I mainly want it to end up being an open world game but having a adventure with quests seems like a must before i make it open world, but yeah, the vision is basically what my fans/people who comment on this pages wish is. so my question to you; What do you want this games future to be?

Thanks, yeah i was thinking that, there is one thing though, with the grid movement im using, it is very difficult to make real time fights, so i was thinking maybe a turn based combat, sorta like pokemon with the selecting of moves to use and such, but i have no clue how to do that and... actually... i may just make my movement grids smaller, and add in real time battle... i suppose i could make it work... somehow thanks for the suggestion, and the recommendation!

I forgot to add my idea :3 I think you should add enemies to fight. (There are video tutorials on how to spawn enemies and junk. I would recommend Shaun Spalding.)
