@[KOR]Bichang Range Animal Framework is causing massive issues for other range animal mods. It is breaking the range abilities of many other dragon mods. Would you be able to use the Vanilla Expanded Framework instead to give your creatures range abilities? Th range animal framework core code overwrites many of the same functions that VEF and dragons descent uses.

Wow... I'm so sorry. Turns out I'm just an idiot. I have a mod to change the defaults of RimWorld because I got tired of setting up the restrictions every new save.. I forgot I had disallowed animals to eat raw materials. Dragon being the only pet I've ever had to not eat kibble, I completely forgot I had done this. Now I feel silly. Thank you for confirming it wasn't the mod though, I could have gone forever blaming it before realizing my mistake! <3

As a result of testing with this mode alone, it is trained using raw meat. I am not aware of this bug.

Expanding further, it seems the Dragons just won't eat raw meat. Only corpses. In their information tab, it says they should be eating the meat, but they just won't.

Having an issue training my dragon.. i have the required handling skill and tons of meat, but when i try to prioritize training, it says I don't have the proper food. Any ideas how to fix? Thanks.

Hei man, i want to create a compatibility patch for your mod and some others. Also i would like to port your dragon to The new Vanilla expanded framework in order to fix most issues, is it alright with you if i create this patch?

OK. as much as I love this mod, I think I'm going to have to take it off. I've done some testing in the game and discovered that when dragons enter the area, it is NOT considered to be a negative event. thus you have scenarios where 2 dragons and a corps of mechanoids are hunting/killing you at the same time. nothing you can do about it. =/

Btw, just a note, "Egress" means "to leave or exit". it should probably say "Entrance" or "Emergence" =)

@[KOR]Bichang I ended up using alpha animals range framework as it has updated AI code in it. If you are getting odd behavior with your dragons I would suggest you update to it. its open for any modder to use

does not really work with Combat Extended anymore as it has no armor penetration and therefore almost cant kill anything and it takes a long time to do so

It appears to me that there is no problem. (I could tame it with raw meat) I suspect a mode conflict.

Just a note - I tested it with and without mods ( on a new map ) , it just randomly blocks tame option with " no usable food " for not a single reason every now and than regardless of corpse/meat state

@[KOR]Bichang hello fellow dragon!. Onyxae and I are working on the working on the Dragon mod by Broken Valkyrie redesign and 1.1 update. Could we use the range animal framework that you updated in your mod? Our dragons are having fire breathing issues. Broken Valkyrie is retired from modding.

How do you tame this? Game says it eats Raw Meat and Corpses but even when i have both (Tons of raw meat and dead raiders) in my stockpile, it still says I have no usable food to tame it.

It seems to use different AnimalRangeAttack modes. I don't think this error can be fixed.

Nevermind. They kill each other by causing around 20 errors a second if Red dragon is loaded first.

Mod currently incompatiable with GeneticRim, as they both try to access the same file and causing it to disappear for the other. Load order causes the mod which is higher to work and the other not to.

If red dragon is lower then geneticRim it will cause this error.

Failed to find Verse.JobDef named AnimalRangeAttack. There are 137 defs of this type loaded.

Am i missing a mod or do i have to wait for ranged animal framework to be updated?

This is for 1.1
you need to update Harmony as it is not a recomanded version right now. Should update it to 2.0.0.7 or use Harmony as dependit mod

I used it in 1.1 and it worked perfectly, spawned a dragon gave it manhunter status and it breathed fire upon my colonists.
I was very surprised that it worked but it does work.

Thank you for the mod and I really loved it!

I have been using this mod for a while, however right after the update at 23 Feb @ 2:59pm, the red dragon turned into a "red box". Please try to fix this as i really love the dragon.

Hey i had a problem with this mod i tried to attack the red dragon using some abilities from a rimworld of magic and it triggered revenge and it just stood there.Could have killed it but i just took the mod off considering the loot it gives is insane and i wouldnt have to sacrifice anything

Along with the Forsakens Fauna the best looking animal mod out there. The Dragon is ridonkoulus op. Eight of my absolutely overpowered Elite-Elite-Over-the-fuarking-Melee-Fighters killed this beast after half of them went down.

I disagree with the lads and lassies that say "You should weaken it!" No, it's over the top content.

Suggestion: Change your description: "This mod adds the Red Dragon. Absolutely overpowered. A whole game-ending raid embodied in a single creature. Install at your own risk. Recommended only for players with multiple op-Mods."

아 열기 면역이군요 감사합니다

그 Range Animal Framework 모드를 사용하면 문제는 당연히 없는데
Range Animal Framework모드를 끄면 RedDragon이 151타입 공격할게 없다고 에러뜨면서
에러문구가 도배가 되버리더라구요

그래서 모드 설명에는 Range Animal Framework가 선택이지만 필수길래 확인 부탁드릴려고 얘기드린 부분입니다

플라즈마 무기가 열기 형태의 공격인데 드래곤이 열기 공격에 면역입니다... 그리고 Range Animal Framework는 해당 모더의 허락을 받고 dll 파일을 자체 포함해서 에러가 안나는게 정상일텐데요;;

I can agree with the 'Haters'. The Dragon looks fucking beautiful. The issue is strength. Basically, Dragon can have a Chaingun just shooting at the Dragons Head, and congrats, the thing is alive still.
Decrease your Defense abit. Don't make the Dragon Weak, just make the Defense more Balanced than it currently is.

How can anyone hate such a great looking dragon? It's tremendous. But in fact he is extremely passive. In my case he only fought back once attacked in melee. Otherwise that would have been the end of my dwarf colony. So i will switch off this nice mod until the dragons AI is improved. I dont know how difficult it is to do that.
