still no leader screen

Whenever I build the Mondragon the game crashes. I don't know if it's due to any of the mods I use, but checking the code would be worth looking into.

I got the gray leader diplomacy screen recently as well.

This mod seemed interesting at first, but the conversion of mines to manufactories and plantations to customs houses is making things very difficult for me. Whenever the tile improvement converts, I lose all benefits of whatever resource was on that tile. Example: If I had a mine on a tile that had gems, whenever it converts, I lose the happiness I get from the gems and extra gold I get from mining it. For plantations, if I had silk plantations, and they convert to customs houses, I lose all happiness from those silk resources. Alongside the silk example, all my bananas become useless, because when their plantations become customs houses, I lose all the food benefits from them, and my capital, as well as other cities, begin to starve. And it becomes a constant battle trying to rush over workers to the afflicted tiles and removing the converted improvements just to replace them with what they converted from.

Game shows a gray screen that in the top left says, 'There is no scene loaded for this leader!!' when I open the diplomacy screen.

Not really intentional, but not easy to fix either, we'll see.

@General_Insanity Yeah, I got that, too.

I love the idea of conversion to custom houses and manufactories and it seems to be working properly

BUT

I got oral tradition to get culture from my plantations, but I didn't get any culture before or after they turned into custom houses. Is this intentional?

One addendum to the report from yesterday. I went back to the game, and didn't upgrade my Gatling Guns with gold to force the crash, but I did try to build one in a city. The unit appeared, but no unit model appeared, the unit graphic was that of a settler, and when I tried to move the invisible Mondragon, the game crashed. One of the big mods I am using in addition to R.E.D. is the Enlightenment Era mod which I have noticed is not among those mods that are compatibility listed.

I just ran into a possible glitch. When upgrading a Gatling Gun to a Mondragon, my game crashed. I have a few mods, like R.E.D., in addition to this one on at the same time, but I had no issues at all until this happened. I would also like to report that the mine/plantation issue reported below also happened to me. I really loved this mod and hope this gets resolved soon!

@Nepths I had to modify the YnAEMP XML files "CivilizationsStartPos" and "CivilizationsRequestedResource"but it worked (this is the case for most civs that don't work in YnAEMP. Mexico is easy because you can just copy Aztec start pos. With others you need to do trial&error). The only issue I have now is that there is no leader screen when speaking with Porfirio. Just a grey screen.

Hey, I've run into a glitch where whenever I build a mine or plantation, the Ai doesn't realize theres a mine or plantation there, I usually get the resources from the improvements but whenever I select my workers, the game recommends me to build a mine or plantation where one already exists or when my workers are on auto improve they keep building mines and plantations over and over in the same spot. it's not a huge issue, I just have to manually control my workers, but if you could fix it i would greatly appreciate it.

When I Enable It I Go Set Up A Game And I Cant See It Anywhere
Nui 7 Jan, 2019 @ 11:00pm
Is it compatible with YnAEMP MOD?
Chumbeque  [author] 7 Jan, 2019 @ 11:25am
Let's... say it's an unintended consequence. I'll have it in mind if I ever update.

While I have throughly enjoyed this mod so far in my playthough, I do have one bone with it. As I understand it, and have seen in my game, when a platation or mine turns into a customs house or manufactory that is on a luxury resouce, that luxury resource is removed from the trade network. Only the stratigic resources are improved through custom houses and manufactories. Was this fact an intentional one when creating Mexico's unique abilities? Having to keep around workers to constantly rebuild plantations and mines on luxuries. Or am I missing something from my game?

The unit is meant to be the Saint-Chamond-Mondragón, but naming it that is a mouthful.

Why is the Mondragon icon an artillery piece? Wasn't it a self-loading rifle?
Doomknight 5 Jan, 2019 @ 2:22pm
Damn if this was in real life then we would all be typing this in spanish

Finally someone made this
pseikone 3 Jan, 2019 @ 11:44am
Some civilization 6 resources produce science and culture and require platation to be incorporated into your trading network. If these resources were introduced to civilization 5, then much more culture or science could be produced from these resources, which justifies the conversion of the plantation into an academy.

Turning a plantation into customs houses or a mine into a manufacturing mod after 40 turns should be a separate mod.
pseikone 3 Jan, 2019 @ 11:28am
1) A long time ago, I downloaded a mod that makes the chateau a plantation. When I place a chateau on a wine field, once having a Temple of Bacchus in the city, I produce 5 cultures.

2) Considering that a plantation can be converted into a customs house every 40 turns, then every chateau that is producing science or culture can turn into an academy every 40 rounds.

The download on stream workshop downloader dosn't work.
Chumbeque  [author] 2 Jan, 2019 @ 8:08pm
40 turns atm

How long does it take for plantations and mines to upgrade into customs houses / manufactories? It'd be really nice to see an AI civ that's able to make a big late-game resurgence.
