@grinder007 sorry for the late response. NF means New Frontier, relating to Firaxis' last round of DLC.
grinder007 20 Sep, 2022 @ 1:31pm
@Leugi ; What exactly is / meaning of the ' NF ' in NF version and when is preferable to use one version versus the other ? ( Please forgive the naivety or the possible repetitiveness of my question ) Thank-you in advance for any guidance that you can provide.
Leugi  [author] 9 May, 2021 @ 6:01am
@yellowboy: The NF version is more complete and up to date than this one. So if you have the other version no need to download this one at all.
Bluesky95 8 May, 2021 @ 9:39pm
are this the nf version the same or do you use them both same time?
Leugi  [author] 11 Mar, 2021 @ 8:11am
@deankaplan06: This version should work without DLCs as far as I remember
DKappy 9 Aug, 2020 @ 11:56am
Can i use this with no dlc at all?
Leugi  [author] 17 Jul, 2020 @ 8:40am
I have made a new version for the City-Styles pack which you can find here:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2169097417

PLEASE NOTE: The new version requires Gathering Storm, so if you don't have it you must still use this one. (which is also why I've made a different upload for it)

I given this collection a Gotta Have It award , as much useful & needed with spice up on style and to play Civilization VI.
jemalomlcs 21 Jun, 2020 @ 5:01am
You know where I can find the names of the other vanilla styles? I want to change Maya's, Colombia's and Brazil's ancient style to the thatched one (e.g. Japan's or England's ancient style) but idk where to find the files for that
Leugi  [author] 22 May, 2020 @ 4:35pm
Will definitely assign the Maya the mesoamerican monument as well as making their city style useable much like with Cree and others. So yeah that'd be part of the next version.
akoufaki 22 May, 2020 @ 12:02pm
Came here for the same reason as conorbebe lol the Maya monument looks real out of place
conorbebe 22 May, 2020 @ 6:21am
Any chance this mod could be updated to fix the Maya's Monument? For some Firaxis decided not to give them the Mesoamerican model.
Fyhis2214 16 May, 2020 @ 4:14am
Anyone knows a mod similar to this one?. One where it modifies the city style, or units, only by texture and model

sertcx 23 Feb, 2020 @ 11:09am
hi. i show you to go website Civilization fanatics center go to see all civ 6 and civ 5 go to download mods
Cuso 28 Aug, 2019 @ 1:45am
Hi Leugi, I've seen you have an unassigned Amazonic city style in the mod files. Does it work? Can one add it to another civ?
MarsEco 16 Aug, 2019 @ 12:02am
If you ever ever want to update or add to this cool mod, would you combine compatability with the CIVITAS City-State Expanded mod???
Foolish 6 Aug, 2019 @ 10:16am
what does this do exactly then? because I swear those picture show what the civ cities actually look like anyway right?
Royal Raven 30 Jun, 2019 @ 11:39am
@Leugi Would I have issues in multiplayer, if I replace the files that are in the download? Would I have to swap back in forth with my backup files and the download ones?
jemalomlcs 14 May, 2019 @ 5:30am
Can you create an additional African style based on individual buildings of Great Zimbabwe and Zulu's Ikanda district? That would be swell

Agree 100% Darkstrider19
I cant believe Civ6 only has ONE modern / post-modern city style.
And industrial, what, only Two? it's so sad. Real life is far more varied.
Gregor MacGregor 20 Apr, 2019 @ 8:34pm
what would be amazing is if someone made a mod that kept some level of cultural diversity and style once we hit the industrial and up eras. its just so boring having all the cities look western and grey.
Bluesky95 16 Apr, 2019 @ 11:26pm
can anyone even explain wth this mod does? do i just subscribe and get different city styles or is it just for cs?
Innomino 16 Apr, 2019 @ 6:59pm
@Leugi Good night,I wanted to say that I really enjoy your mod. I also wanted to report a bug that I found: When I have this mod installed (and the artdefs changed to the ones you provide, the stairs of the Cahokia mounds improvement seem to not show properly, appearing as brown ramps without texture. I have already checked if it was any other mod that was causing it but it does seem to be this one in specific, although I'm not sure if it's just me having this problem.
risinbela 18 Mar, 2019 @ 4:31pm
What are all the architecture names
Leugi  [author] 14 Mar, 2019 @ 9:24pm
I have reuploaded the replacement files making sure they work properly for vanilla civilizations. Please use this within your files if you wish to prevent double styles:

https://we.tl/t-D4xPGwHgUa

(also make sure the mod is up to date)

@truitz: MP shouldn't be an issue since the mod only changes art definitions; and the mod is marked not to affect saved files. The mod works with almost everything; the only mod that could potentially create compatibility problems is the City Sprawling one (I have not tested this one to check tho, so could be wrong)

@ngdennyws: Try with the newer replacement file please.
ngdennyws 11 Mar, 2019 @ 8:56pm
@Leugi, do which line in cultureart.def should i alter if i want to change the city style of Vanilla Civilization to the ones provided here?
truiz024 11 Mar, 2019 @ 7:31am
@Leugi

I love all of your stuff, but I just wanted to make sure this mod did what I thought it did. My biggest concern is about MP because I play my father and brother in Civ all the time but they are not as into it a I am so they don't really use mods. Can I still play them using this mod?

And if I subbed to this now, would it effect games already in progress?

Finally; what mods is this incompatible with? I basically use some of your stuff and Sukritact's work too, I assume this should work right?
Fulesa 11 Mar, 2019 @ 4:22am
@Leugi: Thank you !
Leugi  [author] 10 Mar, 2019 @ 5:59pm
@Fulesa: seems I forgot to remove some references to the old Mestizo style that existed prior to GS in the replacement file; I'll make a new file soon tho
Fulesa 10 Mar, 2019 @ 8:55am
Really nice update, especially the Inca style. However Brasil has in my game the standard European citystyle( like Germany). I replaced the artdef-files with your files.
Cosmic Fox 9 Mar, 2019 @ 2:38pm
Very cool art work my friend, thanks very much. I have more eye candy then actual game play changes. 8 maybe 9 pages now! :steamhappy:
Leugi  [author] 9 Mar, 2019 @ 11:48am
@truiz024: The mod adds some different citystyles, mostly so modded civs can use them. However, some base civs are changed to also use the new city styles (namely, Kongo, Inca, Zulu, Canada and a bunch of CS) the change isn't too dramatic as its only visual, but it aims to make cities more diverse and fitting to specific cultures.
truiz024 8 Mar, 2019 @ 9:09pm
I am kind of confused as to what this mod does. I understand it changes the city graphics, but which ones and how? Are some Civs dramatically different? What does this mod seek to do?
ngdennyws 7 Mar, 2019 @ 7:26am
great work!
Leugi  [author] 7 Mar, 2019 @ 4:15am
The mod has been updated! Added support for Gathering Storm, a support version for the Maori City Style (called Polynesian), added an Andean city style, and removed the Mestizo city style (because it's no longer needed thankfully).

The Brazil city style still has the monument I made for back then though.

@ngdennyws: Any issues should be corrected now btw. Or so I hope.
ngdennyws 5 Mar, 2019 @ 7:57pm
manage to fix it by adding the bantu style to kongo culture.artdef hopefully theres no issue.
ngdennyws 5 Mar, 2019 @ 7:27pm
@leugi, after applying the fileshttps://we.tl/t-B8OXnlYJ3D , my kongo units looks white skinned (eventhough the icon is black african). Replacing the files with the original seems to fix the glitch. Is this a glitch or intentional.
ngdennyws 5 Mar, 2019 @ 10:54am
@Leugi, thank you. Keep up the great work!
Leugi  [author] 5 Mar, 2019 @ 8:37am
@Deliverator: The issue with that is that then it also affects all mods that added to that culture; pretty much overwriting all.

@ngdennyws: Hmm it's kinda hard to know what would be the issue just like that. When placing the civilization in the cultures its important that it references the adequate .artdef. I'd reccommend waiting for Lime's update which will hopefully include this natively.
ngdennyws 5 Mar, 2019 @ 5:59am
Doesnt work with PacificNorthWest or Pantagonian, AncientHide or GreatPlains works thought. Help would be appriciated, but good job nontheless
ngdennyws 5 Mar, 2019 @ 4:32am
oh its Pacific NorthWest, thanks!
ngdennyws 4 Mar, 2019 @ 9:57pm
manage to find it..but i can use the great plain but how do i use the cree style?
ngdennyws 4 Mar, 2019 @ 9:48pm
Manage to find the mod files, but i dont know what to edit in culture.art def
ngdennyws 4 Mar, 2019 @ 9:25pm
Nice Mod! A quick question..i want to add the Cree style to the port Lime's Thule Civilization Mod. How do i go about this. Im pretty clueless about modding, trying to do some research but i cant even find the mod file in my computer (they re supposed to be in documents but its doesnt show up). Its only for personal use. Thanks for your hard work.
Goldfinger 27 Feb, 2019 @ 10:05am
Also China and Japan... f****
Goldfinger 27 Feb, 2019 @ 10:00am
This mode ruined my game. Korea, Cree, Brazil, Mapuche, Inca and Aztecs completely disappeared. I tryed to reinstall everything, but nothing. Maybe you know how to help me, I'm sad :'(
Deliverator23 27 Feb, 2019 @ 7:31am
I think that you could remove the need to overwrite the base game files if you used m_ReplaceMergedCollectionElements = true to overwrite the Culture collection in Cultures.artdef.
truiz024 27 Feb, 2019 @ 6:42am
Am I wrong in thinking that this is replacing base files in the game?

Basically can I turn this off once it is on?
Bunions 19 Feb, 2019 @ 10:44pm
@astudslyfe I was actually asking for a whole 'nother mod, not those changes included in this one.
