I don't own the Federations DLC, so I can't use it. But I already did the work to make this functional, and it works fine without the Void Dwellers origin, so I guess this is nice as-is and allows anyone without the Federations DLC to play it. I might change it later though if I get the DLC. Actually, it would be cool to see how this compares to Void Dwellers, looking at the wiki there lots of similarities, both start with extra technology and lots of habitat space.

Now that the game has a built in Origin for Habitats, what changes have you made during your update?

This mod has been majorly updated, it now mostly works the way it should. I'm too lazy to update the screenshots but the description has been updated.

OH, that reminds me. Make sure you set the "IGNORE_PORTRAIT_DUPLICATION" flag to "NO"! Otherwise, it will remove all instances of men in every other Mod and Empire.

The idea is that you get other alien species immigrating in order to expand, since Starflight allows you to recruit different aliens for your crew I think this seems appropriate. This mod doesn't replace anything last I checked.

@TurtleShroom That's a good idea, even if the habitats themselves are expensive, it would still be good to grant the tech. Right now this is a bit broken, and I might just redo it to use the new starting scenario system that Stellaris will have in an upcoming DLC.

Does this Mod replace anything? How does it handle building new Habitats? Shouldn't it give the Empire the ability to build new ones from day one?
