I'm not sure if it's because I had a bunch of mods besides this one installed or if it's a problem in this mod itself, but I found that trying to use the familiar cards causes the game to crash. Other than that, it's an interesting mod!

Painbolt does not function how 'X' cards should in StS with a duplication potion. It should replay the card for the same energy as the original card was played; however it replays it for 0 energy

Just wondering why Moon Chosen's artifact doesn't counteract skull flasks debuff? I figured this would be one of the main purposes for Moon Chosen. If it isn't what is the point of MC? Is it just to counteract curse debuffs?

Really cool mod! Lots of neat ideas here. Honestly, my biggest criticism is that there are maybe TOO many ideas, and they don't all interact with each other too much. Particularly, I find the "familiar" powers to be underpowered and just not especially fun to draft, even if the idea is flavorful.

If this mod was given another pass to trim the fat, (or, alternatively, by adding more micro-synergies between cards, like more reasons to draft "familiiars" powers) I think it could be up there with the absolute best character mods. As it stands, I like it, but I tend to start losing interest in the run around Act 3.

On the plus side: runs feel VERY different from each other. On the minus, it feels like there's less in the way of archetypes to build towards.

Tried following Meman82's advice, no longer works. For me, it crashed instantly when I tried to draw cards for my opening turn, with the error "Exception in thread "LWJGL Application" com.badlogic.gdx.utils.GdxRuntimeException: java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: onCardSelect"
It's a shame, as this may have been my favorite mod for this game. I know modding is hard work, so. I'll hope this returns one day.

Agree with a previous posters about a bug - Chemical X relic from the base game does not work with any of her X cost abilities. Otherwise really fun modded character.

I agree - very creative and mechanically sound, not to mention fun.

If map-makers can get their stuff officially adapted into Killing Floor 2, I might hope authors could get some of these characters into Slay The Spire.

Decrepify is an X cost card but the Chemical X relic was not interacting with it.

This is literally my favorite slay the spire mod. I love it SO much. So so so so much. Rat and Cat familiars are my favorite - Decrepit is super mega fun. I keep trying to get a curse archetype running. I'm sure I'll manage it eventually >:C
I'd like to repeat the bug report of X costs not working with Chemical X and the like. It's the only real problem I've found with the mod so far.

Also, one request... I understand why you can't stack familiars, but I'd love if there were some way to. A relic that lets you have two? Similarly, it'd be good if there was a benefit to having two copies oif the Same familiar. (Maybe casting a second rat familiar would make the Rats give one more decrepit/poison per? It would probably (?) work if coded as an infinitely upgradable card like Searing Blow.)

If you have dark procession in play and play the cleansed harmlessness, it puts the curse form in your hand the next turn. Not sure if intended, I think it should put the cleansed version.

the witch. let's start with the good. very versatile build wise and even when using one archetype, you aren't punished by picking cards from another. the balance is definitely there and the huge turns you can get aren't broken by default while the small turns are usually not too insanely death-causing. she has a lot of decisions both in deckbuilding and in playing the deck and is very well balanced. your decisions at all phases of your run are very meaningful with the witch. stance dancing is fun and really all of her mechanics are more fun than frustrating.

as for the bad... there is an insanely strong 2 card combo that makes you unkillable and out of 3 runs i was able to attain said combo all 3 times. now i understand others have some i-win combos, but not at 2 cards... that said, a very fun class with a ton of fun mechanics and synnergies and only the one drawback.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, I think there is too much potential for abusing decrepit. Sure, it 'sucks' compared to Strenght, but it is also much easier to gain than strenght. Next thing you know I'm doing +25 damage on each hit.

I spent all of last night playing this mod and went up to Ascension 6. I feel rewarded for making smart deck building choices. Also enjoy deck manipulation with Rite of Winter etc for on draw effects.

Same bug as reported by derekl5000 here. Chemical X was a massive waste and lost in Act 3 when I bought it over other options.

I wonder if the idea of a skill/power that sends the consequences of a curse on the enemy (unless it is very player specific like the curse of rust, which exhausts your hand)

Exemple: I have doubt, regrets and curse of rust in my hand. Doubt gives a weakness on an enemy, then regret does 3 damage on a random enemy since I have 3 cards in hand, then lastly rust does its normal effect of exhausting my hand since it cannot be applied to a enemy.

Nice character art and card art (unfinished I'm guessing). Really a nice 'high risk, high reward' character. It is shocking how many ways you can build her, like I was not expecting a 'strenght' build in a character called a witch.

I'm worried that her Cain might be too powerful (no longer allowing 3 debuffs to tick down) but the fact that I can get far but not 'win' makes me think she must be pretty balanced.

Just dropping in to let you know that the Witch's X cost cards do not work with Chemical X. Ruined a run because I blew all my money on Chemical X rather than the waffle. Otherwise, cool character.
