I’d like to avoid flooding this comment section with debugging messages, so if you have more debugging-related questions, you might want to copy-paste the errors into Google, ask on a forum or Discord, or friend me on Steam and I’ll help if I can.
12 of this before ~map start:
Floor 1 ('top') of elevator at ( -13953.00, 1162.00, -2393.00 ) has no matching navigation areas
About 49 spamming of these:
UTIL_GetListenServerHost() called from a dedicated server or single-player game.
UTIL_GetListenServerHost() called from a dedicated server or single-player game.
UTIL_GetListenServerHost() called from a dedicated server or single-player game.
and some:
Entity XXX (class 'infected') reported ENTITY_CHANGE_NONE but 'm_nSequence' changed.
There's literally a dispenser that spawns an UNLIMITED amount of first aid kits, pills and adrenaline. It's not even hidden!
If you're able to, I’d suggest lowering the "CommonLimit" in the "zombicaust" script to 30 from 60 (30 is actually the default). There still might be too many infected at times, but it should at least help a bit. Not sure if that would make the map dramatically easier, though.
I thought that in the situation of lacking first aid kits, defending wave after wave of attacks would inevitably end in successfully evacuating, but it turned out to be just a farce.
Cool map, but it was made to fool Muggles in the end, kkkk

死了就是逃脱?绝了
Pretty fun and challenging for a short 1 level map
Not much else to really say about it besides dont play with AI, play with friends!
I think you should try these
-Disable some or all of your addons (especially conflicting addons)
-Resubscribe this addon (both of you)
-Unsubscribe some of your addons, especially custom finale music addons
-Verify game cache files? :P
I don't know for sure what is causing that to happen but I think it may have something to do with other addons you have subscribed... Maybe you should also try having your friend host the server?
There is no tank model included in this campaign so it shouldn't be happening because of this addon.
I have released an update that should stop players from getting stuck or frozen when the finale escape starts.
Cons:
You might get incapacitated while the camera is enabled (because zombies can still move while the camera is enabled, unlike players).
Yes, it can be played online :)
But there is no dedicated servers for this map, you should choose a server type Local server . Anyone that have subscribed the map should be able to join your game if you have also changed the Permissions to Public game .
Okay... that's weird. I have to find out why these things happen, and it might take some time.
First of all, I think I'm going to get rid of the time slowdown thing, it seems to make you get stuck. It didn't happen for us when I tested the map with a friend so I wasn't really aware of that.
Before I update the map you could try to:
-Unsubscribe some/all other addons you have (or just disable them in the Addons menu)
-Update your graphics drivers (could fix texture problems)
Note: (You will probably still get stuck even after completing those steps, I'll update the map someday soon to fix that problem)
Sorry for late reply, I have been very busy lately. I'm a student so I don't have much spare time :P
Thanks for the feedback! :) I wouldn't know about these bugs without your feedback.
Thank for your reply,
But my situation is different,
I'm using GTX 980ti, and my friend using GTX 1080, and his memory , CPU is also better than me.
In the first time, we both get getting stuck. (alwasy watching the final gate until we shut-down the game)
but in the second time, only my friend getting stuck, and he is the host.
however, his computer also get some other problem during we are playing other map(Suddenly quit or texture loss)
So I'm not sure this is will help or not
anyway, I like this map and thanks for your work, just I didn't finish this campaign
Were you trying to host a local server?
I tried to slow down time when the final door opens (so that players wouldn't get incapacitated while the camera is on), I noticed myself that sometimes - probably when the host has a low-end computer - it takes 1-3 minutes (should take 5-10 seconds) to reset time to normal. I think that's why it looks like the players are getting stuck, but they are actually slowed down. I think you just have to wait for a couple minutes (sorry). I will probably fix that in a future update.
