Dante1308_Virgil This mod only ensures that the dyson sphere planet is treated as a habitable structure (E.G. it can't use mastery of nature and doesn't spawn certain events). The issue you are experiencing is not solved by this mod. Most likely another mod is overwriting the megastructure upgrade path or, in the case of gigastructures, isn't actually using the default dyson sphere megastructure. Either way, you need to move Colonizable Dyson Spheres to the bottom of your load order, not this one.
Dante1308_Virgil 9. feb. 2021 kl. 17:38
I have moved this patch to the bottom of my load order, with Colonizable Dyson Spheres above it. Still no upgrade option available.
CTH2004 26. jan. 2021 kl. 8:07
Objective? Don't you just mean Stupid, not Objectivly? It's just a period, the end.
Mr. Miyagi  [ophavsmand] 24. jan. 2021 kl. 14:27
Dante1308_Virgil That would be an issue with Colonizeable dyson spheres. Try moving it lower in your load order.
Dante1308_Virgil 24. jan. 2021 kl. 11:35
While Colonizable Dyson Sphere technologies and their images show up in my games, the actual option to upgrade my Dyson spheres do not appear. I've tried to fix this by putting this below Ancient Cache of Technologies and Gigastructures, the two bigger mods, but the option still does not show up, even though the techs do. Is there something I'm missing or is it a technical problem?

Districts are disappearing but this is only with District Overhaul 2 being loaded.
Mr. Miyagi  [ophavsmand] 30. okt. 2020 kl. 22:52
I think paradox fixed a problem with the scripted triggers. If your districts start disappearing on you please tell me.
Do'tasarr o Khajiit 4. aug. 2020 kl. 16:59
Just trying to figure if I should use this or !habitable structures patch
Mr. Miyagi  [ophavsmand] 4. aug. 2020 kl. 15:55
Do'tasarr o Khajiit  Should be. Any issues with it?
Do'tasarr o Khajiit 4. aug. 2020 kl. 8:30
Is this mod still working as intended?
Icelord 31. maj 2020 kl. 10:52
Don't know if you can support it or not but "ST: New Horizons" is a full conversion mod that changes the game in to Star trek would be fun to have some of the things like "Dyson spheres colonizable" or "Dyson swarm" mod
ckoldmail 5. maj 2020 kl. 6:54
Ok, thank you!
Mr. Miyagi  [ophavsmand] 5. maj 2020 kl. 5:39
ckoldmail At the very bottom. It must override all other scripted triggers.
ckoldmail 4. maj 2020 kl. 23:22
Where should I put this in the load order?
QOMRADEQUEER 10. apr. 2020 kl. 12:34
I think Living Space 2.6 would need to be added here.
Dezerker 26. mar. 2020 kl. 13:58
o thankyou so very much
Mr. Miyagi  [ophavsmand] 26. mar. 2020 kl. 13:57
Dezerker Mod is up to date now.
Dezerker 25. mar. 2020 kl. 18:08
ok thanks for letting me know. im trying to rebuild my mods list but seems like im going to have to wait alittle bit for real space. ill test it to see if anything explodes
Mr. Miyagi  [ophavsmand] 25. mar. 2020 kl. 16:07
Dezerker Not dead, although I haven't really gotten around to updating it and don't have a timeline for it. It should work *sort of*. Since it hasn't updated in a while, some mods may have introduced new planet classes that aren't covered. It should not break your game though. If you want to use something like habitable dyson spheres with gigastructures it will make both function.
Dezerker 25. mar. 2020 kl. 14:34
ok dumb question is this dead, being updated, or does it work?
Tyso3 17. dec. 2019 kl. 22:32
If your using District overhaul and you have the issue of only city districts appearing. Its simply a mod order issue. Drop the overhaul to the bottom of the list and you will be fine.
Mr. Miyagi  [ophavsmand] 20. nov. 2019 kl. 3:37
Vice Sorry I didn't mean to take this long to reply. Work was a big nightmare and I had no motivation to do stuff. But I really appreciate you finding this for me, it is incredibly helpful to me. Seriously, thank you.
Droll Vice 17. nov. 2019 kl. 10:18
I was looking for a description and I found this website. Maybe you can use it for a partial reconstruction of the description at least.

Bob-The-Ninja Birb

Well, turns out my mod was the culprit. I used a shortcut for certain mods that, when you used those mods, worked fine. apparently this recent patch made it so that if you didn't use those mods then my patch sort of... broke everything. In any case, I fixed it.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go scream into the uncaring void because the shitty new launcher just deleted the description for this mod. Sorry for the issues, I should have been more attentive of my mods.
Mr. Miyagi  [ophavsmand] 4. nov. 2019 kl. 16:15
Bob-The-Ninja I'll be honest, I have no idea whatsoever why my mod would cause such an issue. But, I can't just assume that now that two people have come forward. Could you send me that list of mods you are using? I suspect it may be other compatibility issues between the mods this patch is meant to support. Either way, I'd like to see what the issue is so that I can warn other users.
Bob-The-Ninja 4. nov. 2019 kl. 15:24
@Mr. Miyagi - Just as a heads up, I encountered the exact same problem as @Birb with this mod. Starting at the very beginning of any game, within one month, all planetary districts except city districts completely disappear, taking all associated jobs and resource outputs with them. I'm currently on Stellaris version 2.5.1, and even with only a handful of mods enabled, the same problem occurred.

Just to be sure, I even disabled all other mods except for this one, and even then, the problem still persists. If you'd like, I can send over pictures of what it looks like when it occurs. Feel free to message me here or via PM.
Mr. Miyagi  [ophavsmand] 2. okt. 2019 kl. 12:32
@Spider As it turns out, the mod already supports them. Looks like his assets all came from Sins of the Fallen Empires. I've added it to the description to remove any confusion.

@TurtleShroom I took a look at the mod, and it looks to me like it doesn't consider it a habitable structure. I haven't used the mod, so I don't know what the planet is supposed to be. But this is a patch, so it is not my place to make changes to the mods I support here. If you want it to be considered one, I recommend either convincing the author to change it, or creating your own mod that makes that change. If you want to do the latter, let me know and I can show you how to build it so that I can support your mod without also overwriting his.

Could you add Twink's two mods, Eternal Empires and Playable Fallen Empires?

Twink's Eternal Empires: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1873457161

Twink's Playable Fallen Empries: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1613718404
Mr. Miyagi  [ophavsmand] 22. sep. 2019 kl. 18:06
Birb Trust me, I've been in your shoes before. Good luck on your journey.
Yellow 22. sep. 2019 kl. 4:43
I'll get back to you in a few days! It's probably not even your fault as it's just a bizarre bug
Mr. Miyagi  [ophavsmand] 21. sep. 2019 kl. 23:20
Birb I can't think of any reason why this mod would cause that bug. If you don't want to disable every mod individually, try a boolean search. Disable half of the mods from the top and see if the bug persists. If it does, disable half of the remaining mods. If the bug disappears, enable half of what you previously disabled. Repeat the process until you have one left. It will seem slow at first, but eight searches will reach one mod among 255. Sixteen will find it among 65,535.
Yellow 21. sep. 2019 kl. 19:36
This mod may be incompatible for larger modpacks. When this mod is combined with a few certain other mods it will cause every planet in the entire galaxy to only have one district, and that's the city district.

What mod's cause this? I don't know, and it may even be the mod on it's own. Didn't test and aint got time to do that.
TurtleShroom 3. sep. 2019 kl. 17:09
Also, please consider adding the planet class "HFE_PC_PIRATE_BASE" to the list. That is from Human Fallen Empires.
TurtleShroom 3. sep. 2019 kl. 17:08
Have you checked the link I gave?
Mr. Miyagi  [ophavsmand] 3. sep. 2019 kl. 14:34
Pepis the Tender I've added the scripted trigger for it. I'm not playing stellaris right now, so let me know if it helped.
Pepis the Tender 2. sep. 2019 kl. 19:38
I don't suppose Beyond Kilostructures could be added in on this. I love to have the Kilo and Giga and planetary diversity but something between kilo and PD made them explode in random districts
TurtleShroom 1. juni 2019 kl. 12:55
For the record, this is the Mod that I was mentioning: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1636492142 .

Also, consider using the On-Screen Keyboard if your dominant hand is broken.
Mr. Miyagi  [ophavsmand] 1. juni 2019 kl. 12:21
@TurtleShroom I'm on a break with Stellaris, so I can't really answer about others. When I created this mod, I was not aware of any other mods addressing the issue. Mine overwrites one specific file and does nothing else, so it is intended to avoid conflicts with other mods as much as possible.

My right hand is broken, so I'm not updating this mod right at the moment, but you should be able to add the planet class to the scripted trigger yourself.
TurtleShroom 1. juni 2019 kl. 11:34
"Human Fallen Empires", by Had, also adds the Pirate Base, which is a habitable structure.
TurtleShroom 1. juni 2019 kl. 11:34
What makes this Mod different from the other Habitable Structures Fix?
JenkoRun 21. feb. 2019 kl. 16:18
Time to sub!
Mr. Miyagi  [ophavsmand] 21. feb. 2019 kl. 16:04
HighKings_Ruin Yes, this patch merges the file that defines which structures are habitable.
JenkoRun 21. feb. 2019 kl. 15:15
I use Giga and I'm thinking of getting Living Space, do I need this if I already have the Universal District and Resource patches?
Mr. Miyagi  [ophavsmand] 19. feb. 2019 kl. 17:54
Spider Thank you for letting me know. I will work on getting this integrated.
Spider 19. feb. 2019 kl. 14:11
Mods I know of that add habitable structures off the top of my head:

M.E.M. More Events Mod
Twink's Playable Fallen Empires
Zenith of Fallen Empires: Sins of the Fallen Empires
Planetary Diversity
