I know mate, i made this sword about two years ago and looking back at it it feels terrible. I have advanced ALOT since i made this sword and i know it looks rubbish. But i cannot remake the textures cause i don't have it on my computer anymore and i would make a new one if i had the time. I might get back to create some stuff for Skyrim in the future but not for now. I am currently working on a medieval knight tho and i maybe can import the armor to skyrim once it's done. We'll see.

its a sword not a dagger. make it have a sword sheath. make it loOK LIKE A PIRATE CUTlass. and get rid of all that rust. most cutlass' werent all just covered in rust. most were actually fairly clean blades even if used by pirates. that is until they shoved it through someone

I agree that you should make the sword longer, but please keep it rusty. This mod is a dream come true for me!!

its hilt isn't a problem, but its blade size is very small. i like the model, work on the blade.

Quit bitchen about the length its all in how you use it and enjoy the mod people.

also from a historical side i will admit it is ment to be shorter than a saber, HOWEVER, a cutlass is much longer than a dagger (look it up word litterally means long dagger). by modern sword standards a cutlass is a shortswod, a step up from dagger but a step down from longsword, 2 steps down from bastard sword (hand and a half), 3 steps down from 2Hander, etc. in game terms that is "roughly" iron sword length

this is NOT a pirate cutlass, creator has mistaken fiction and viking saxes to make a short impractical sailing bowie knife. personally if you want a good pirate sword find a nice rapier mod. while not the first weapon of choice ALOT of historical privateers used them int he french vs spain vs england days of piracy for its sneaky stabby end as well as using as a tool

Briangifford I completely agree. Johan, you should make the blade a little longer. the textures remind me of the Daedric weapons a bit. I like that. You should give it to the Dremora Pirate in SPOILER ALERT the caverns under the college of winterhold END SPOILER.
