Going to try this mod out, sounds like fun. And as far as anybody abandoning the spike trap prior to this mod, their loss! Honestly, the spike trap is essential to ANY build because of it's low damage... it helps build up your multiplier for a low cost. And, at the end of the day, it is ALL about the multiplier.

To be honest I'm not 100% sure of how the chance works, because it uses a number of random tags that are part of their script system and I'm not sure how it picks the right one. What I think happens is it checks the random chance for each effect, and as soon as one of them is hit it stops checking the rest and uses that effect, which would give the following chances:

Stun - 35%
Burn - 22%
Poison -15%
Bleed - 10%
Chill - 6%
Freeze - 4%
Fear - 2%
No effect - 5%

I put fear and freeze near the bottom since they last longer than the others, which gives your other traps more chance of hitting a second time or something so I feel like those are the 'best' ones. I hadn't actually worked out what the chance of each one happening was until now though, I didn't realise that there was such a large difference, so maybe I should balance it out a bit more...

This trap replaces the spike trap. I was under the impression that you can only make trap mods that replace existing traps for the moment, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't really looked into it :3c

Erm... I haven't tried playing multiplayer with any mods enabled, I assume they would all work fine in multiplayer though. I imagine both players would need to have the same mods installed though.
