If you're getting them from steam, then they'll be under ~\Steam\steamapps\workshop\ whatever aground's id is im not sure
a lot of coins.
You can probably fix the bug by just having a variable that increases by one every time you loot one of the ships, and once it hits three it says something like, "There's nothing left to salvage!"

Crashes themselves are harmless, except for losing progress back to the last save point. In general the main game is stable, but adding large numbers of mods can sometimes cause crashes if the game is left running for a long time.
What are the risks of crashing the save? (ie. what might get spoiled, from the technical point of view?)
2.Distress beacon should show up on the starmap once you find a crashed ship
3. yes it is a good source of resources, but also can be dangerous if enemies catch you :)
also with spirit box and queen drill this is a ludicrous source of recourses
