@luis this is no longer required as per the top header description: Attention: wind turbines are completely passable now, so this mod is useful for versions 1.2 and earlier only!

I just found a very hard to reproduce bug: When placing wind turbines so that the wind zone covers rich soil, the grass under the blueprint turns into rich soil too, but it doesn't always happens and I have no idea which mod is causing this, so maybe it's yours? Mod still relevant, just needs a rebranding, "Smaller profile wind turbine" or something, as stated below it allows for other structures to occupy those otherwise blank spaces and changes the placement of the power grid beneath it to make a lot more sense when connecting to the sides.

Your mod is still relevant as it reduces the size of the building from a 2x7 to a 2x5, my turbines got destroyed when I turned this off ;=;

Just the game changed hard recently, so I had no idea how to balance it to match the current Vanilla well.
So I deleted it till I have time and will to work on it.

Hooy! Think you may add a compatibility to mods like "Higher Power" and others that add other levels of wind turbines?
There are some, if i remember, on the vanilla extended that are weaker and lower level.
Same with Higher Power that add wind turbines with a higher output.

@TheK0tYaRa Idk about that "minify everything" does that too without this mod, like uninstalling the wind turbine which was blocked by a tree installing it in a different place without trees it will still tell you the turbine is blocked. Or if you build the turbine indoors and reinstall it outdoors it will not work, until you restart the game, same for the tree issue.
Is it even possible to uninstall wind turbines in the vanilla game?

Reinstalling the turbine with this mod makes it ignore the fact it got reinstalled and it still checks the same places for roof and walls, which means it can be abused for stacking wind turbines

I love this mod! But I found a bug: installing it on a save in progress and using the mods that let you reinstall it elsewhere glitched it out so hard it broke my HUD. I had to deconstruct and rebuild it elsewhere.

Because it's a time consuming waste to update for every revision of a test client, most will wait till there is a stable version and not waste their time having to redo it for every mod they make each time the unstable version gets changed
