i'm just gonna say, F who ever made this, I love you for the title alone, now I can't stop saying ":lunar2020confidentrooster:sexy rocks"
Maering 13 Jul, 2019 @ 12:17pm
Have you discovered if this is related to a mod conflict or something similar?
Enabling it afterward is what I did. Anyway it is not such a big issue :steamhappy:

@daubeny

I am aware of the problem and was able to reproduce it myself. Unfortunatly the only fix i can come up with is removing my rocks from the generator stage, which means no sexy rocks for generating the landscape. Dirty fix for all users is to just enable the sexy rock mod after you have generated the landscape
Maering 9 Jul, 2019 @ 1:46pm
@SwissCH I do have the same glitch as neldot was mentionning earlier. (Btw this mod rocks! :lunar2019coolpig:). I though the issue could be related with "clean cliff" but it is not. I'm still investigating.

It doesn't seem to do a random angle, only a random 180 degrees, I can't even explicitly select something like 30 and 70.

I understand, but it just takes a long time to set rocks for example on huge field. I mean for instance forester has lot of density variants and if u take like 96 density - there is just a tiny amount of trees spawns. Perfect for little fields.
OI MATE SWISS  [author] 19 Apr, 2019 @ 6:59am
you can place rocks individually as well
Lord Raccoon 12 Apr, 2019 @ 11:37am
Could u please make smaller density? Sometimes i wish to set some rocks in the field, but even the 96 density gives like hunderds of them

Thank you! Actually I had this problem when loading this mod at last, so I have tried to activate this mod when reload a map, this problem had been solved, but the appearance of those initial rocks stay grey. However I think this problem don't influence my experience of playing this game, there might be some other reasons, like conflicts with other mods, for showing of shadow of rocks.(And actually only when seeing from a low angle could these shadows be shown) Really appreciate you again!
OI MATE SWISS  [author] 1 Feb, 2019 @ 3:26am
@cyanide072
Possibly. I have not been able to recreate the bug with my mod setupt. But you can solve the issue by either loading the mod after you have generated your map or loading it on the bottom of your load order.
Cyanide72 31 Jan, 2019 @ 7:36pm
Thanks for the mod, it's really useful and I really appreciate your work. However, when I activated this mod, there would be shadow of rocks shown suspending above ground. I wonder if this situation was caused by this mod itself? Thank you!

Another great scenery mod. Thanks. I'd like to suggest the addition of the game's vanilla rock types to the area painting tool (useful for adding onto existing areas of rocks) and further options for lower density.
neldot 28 Jan, 2019 @ 11:27am
Thanks again. If I'll find out what other mod causes the conflict I'll let you know.
OI MATE SWISS  [author] 28 Jan, 2019 @ 9:42am
@nedlot yep it seams to be a glitsch but i have not been able to recreate it with my mod loadout it seams there is a conflict with a other mod but i cant tell you which one.
neldot 28 Jan, 2019 @ 7:55am
These rocks look very good, thanks. By the way, I don't know if it's a glitch caused by this mod or some other one, but when I start a new map I have a lot of rocks standing in the sky...
Avern 20 Jan, 2019 @ 9:00am
thanks
OI MATE SWISS  [author] 19 Jan, 2019 @ 2:41pm
yep start by making sure to analyse your landscape carefully. Place rocks that are more round in clutters in valleys and below mountains more or less on even terrain. For The Steep cliffs start building them using lare scaled sharp looking rocks and make sure you rotate them to not have a repetetive looking cliff. add some smaller rocks between your big cliffs and add vegitation to everything. For building cliffs do them by hand. It also helps to look at real cliffs and mountains to get things looking right.
Avern 19 Jan, 2019 @ 11:50am
im having a hard time getting things to look as good as your screen shots any tips?

These should really be a part of the base game!
spectre0072015 13 Jan, 2019 @ 3:42am
Great news, The ingame rocks stick out at insane angles and hard to make look realistic. Hoping to try these out on old mpa, before setting out on a new One, after learning curves have taken me to 2100, and Im not sure If this game has an end date? thanks can't wait to try them :)
rose4100 12 Jan, 2019 @ 7:50pm
I've never realized how much I needed this in my life. Now I don't think I can play without it.
shaunus82 12 Jan, 2019 @ 7:09am
At Last !!! Someone has made a decent rock set. Been waiting for this a long time. I really hate those vanilla rocks, so thank you so much for giving us this set.

I didn't know NSFW content was allowed on the Workshop. Think of the children!

Kevlar 11 Jan, 2019 @ 4:19pm
Great work on a much needed mod, you sexy beasts!
hamtgerry 11 Jan, 2019 @ 3:07pm

God bless your soul. That was so needed in this game. Thank you a lot!
Señor Mustacho 11 Jan, 2019 @ 2:52pm
Can you tell me where you got all the extra vegetation from?
Marcello 11 Jan, 2019 @ 2:38pm
very sexy
n.chiri 11 Jan, 2019 @ 2:32pm
I know there are a few tools that help you create better looking worlds. However, considering that the devs are leaving this game behind now, I think they should take note from modders like you and Skully for their upcoming games. Creating varied and rich procedural worlds like these should be a bit easier for the end user.
OI MATE SWISS  [author] 11 Jan, 2019 @ 2:26pm
thats why we added a script which will alow you to select a area where you want to place rocks. I tried alot and tested the sets and tools again and again with comfort in mind we tried to design a ui and sets to make it easy. Check it out you might find it quite easy to create rocky landscapes.
n.chiri 11 Jan, 2019 @ 2:24pm
I'm hard like a stone looking at those pics. Beautiful!

I wish making pretty maps like yours was a little bit easier though. Don't have the patience to sit and decore an entire map for hours, I would rather see my trains passing by. Even though I know it's way easier and cheaper than making your own model railroad. Have you considered releasing a guide about map decoration?
